In all FF games we see the comon elements however we are also exposed to futuristic and medival style Final Fantasy Games......tell us what you prefer and why !!!!
All that tells me is that you have no idea what to look for in a fight scene
I hate Dragon Ball Z, and I hate the fact that the fight scenes in AC were just plain rediculous like that. Atleast, in the Matrix, there was a valid explanation as to why people could defy gravity
fs_metal
The fight scenes were like the Matrix and it made sense in the respects that the Mako/lifestream made them super human....however the normal people doing all that crazy stuff....ya thats just dumb....if Cloud could fly...why didnt he use those powers in FFVII.....why did they need an airship?
You can't please everyone. I just don't think people understood itfs_metal
meh, ..btw FS_Metal have you seen any reports on the amount of money made of specific titles...I have been recently looking as part of a recent project.....you think it would be somewhere on the net...
[QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="kinetic-core"]well uhh... they'd already said that the Compilation of FFVII would go on for at least another ten years. Of course therell be plans for a sequel. But let me see over here, the think about this Project "G" or something, seems to be aiding in a prequel, not a sequel. If you'd seen the trailers for Crisis Core: FFVII, the whole thing is focused on the G thingy.liquid_s
And based on my personal knowledge....down the road Sephiroth will return and **** will happen and he will eventually fuse with G forming a 2 winged angel (ever wonder about the placement of the wings ....duh plot device).........trust me people, I have a sharp mind...this is likely the way of the FFVII saga
Oh...joyish joy of all joy. A two winged angel....we are fighting a freaking angel in the final battle. And this ladies and gentleman, is indeed the Angel of Death for Final Fantasy 7. The original story has been mucked around with to make it 'better' but IMhO it has ruind the FF7 saga more than anything.I'd almsot put money down that its going to happen....and hey people....Crisis Core looks VERY good
i could not stop laughing inside at that incredibly cheesy fight scene in matrix reloaded where he is fighting all the agent smiths.Ā good highway scene though.jordina
Second Matrix actually had good fight scenes I think lol :P ..Third one....well....F--k no :P
Advent Children had good fight sequences...comon....I mean...I really havnt seen much better than that and I have seen numerous action movies....and i mean numerous
.....I just didn't like how suddenly Clouds gavity defying hair is replaced with gravity defying fight scenes, I couldĀ see perhaps Sephiroth performing such on occasion....like the flips and stuff were cool, but when he like flys and hits Cloud lol....g@yness......IĀ think I smell Dragon Ball Z all over again roflz ....remember that show anyone?
[QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="ILuvCharmed1s"]Do I choose one of them or my own lol? Im guessing my own though else Seymour would have likely been there. I'll choose; They aren't the main villains of the games but are still pure evil and are all from FFVII and DoC btw SO DON'T READ IF YOU DONT WANNA RISK SPOILERS. I wouldn't say there are but you mite think they are lol Hojo:He was pure evil and we can blame him for Sephiroth lol Azul the ceruleon:He looked so awesome so......blue lol but was a powerful machine (not literally) Rosso the crimson:You gotta love some1 from Transylvania lol. Well she sounded it wiv da accent she's given and looks like vincents counter part. You must be pretty evil to have red stained skin from the blood. ILuvCharmed1s
YES AZUL, he was so kool, just the way they made the character...and how he wields a tankĀ turrent as if it were a toy, Rosso ..wow.....she was a unique character, and I liked it....added to the villians, Nero..I cant belief you forgot my beloved brother...lol...he was wacked out, and looked sick, I mean the metal angel wings with hands, he had four handguns...and had the power of darkness...how awesome....Weiss was also wicked sick, although I found him only kool because of how he fought, those dual gunblades....were OWNAGE
Glad you agree lol. Nero reminded me of Paine with that limit break lol. Rosso was my favourite though I think. Im sure we saw her most and she was the one that .........------@Possible spoiler.@----+%^&*( Cloud got to fite with in the best scene of the game. (some people mite not have wanted to know anythin about Cloud lol I don't think its a spoiler but you dunno how other peoples minds work rite? lol)rofl :P ....I dunno about Most Shelke was f--king wh0ring the spotlight lol.....also Azul seemed to be focused upon just as much if not more.......what limit break of Neros?
[QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="fs_metal"][QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="fs_metal"][QUOTE="DRUNK_CANADIAN"][QUOTE="fs_metal"]That's largely due to the fact that many people started playing FF with VII...including most of them that use websites such as this one. They came to expect certain things....certain things that Final Fantasy is NOT and has never been. When they were handed a real FF game, they did not like it because they did not know any better. Ignorance. What can you sayfs_metal
So your saying the majority of FF gamers along with Square Enix are all ignorant to FF?
Many people support and love FFVII, and Square Enix has supported the game (or butchered it in the saga :P w.e you want to believe) Without FFVII success FF would NOT be the success it is today, for it was from FFVII that many people, like you said adopted the series, and from than onward they had expectations, many were appeased through games like FFX, FFXII, and even FFVIII (which I thought tried to pull of a similar game 2 FFVII)
yes I understand, FFIX was disliekd due to its medival approach however FFXII is medival as well yet didnt share such critizism.....most people who own FFXII love it,
Yeah, but new FF fans also got a bit of a mideval taste in alot of X, as well as the Tactics games . It was no longer something new and different to those that picked the series up starting with VII.Oh k, I see what you mean, however I feel it would be more due to the graphical style than the medival setting...or perhaps other reasons...either that or it just wasnt as successful for a general preferance towards the other FF......
I am not debating the graphical style, though I quite liked it, especially in comparison to FFVII and FFVIII. I was saying the game should not be critisized for it's setting.yes that may be true for those who only played FFVII onward, but what of those who have played the games prior to FFVII and still dislike FFIX , how do we justify them? I am meaning that the graphical style is probably what alienated these gamers.....but yes I see where your coming from FFVII brought alot of players to the franchise....and they probably were unaccustomed to the traditional FF style, yet upon playing FFXII one would think they would change their upon, ......not too sure if I explained what I was thinking there clearly...
