so does that mean bye bye to cheats ... nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! i cant beat games with out them (P.S. i suck at video games that invole alot of thinking)hooperalltheway
Wow, you are exactly like me! I have more fun when I'm cheating, and get really frustrated when I can't cheat. That's why I liked the PS2, because I could use the Code Breaker. Unfortunately, we will never see anything like that again because of the stupid online garbage. I will never play games online, and I think that it's unfair that online gaming has ruined cheating for us offline gamers.
This is one reason why I'm thinking about switching to PC gaming. Most PC games either have built in cheat codes, or you can modify the config files to cheat. I'm still trying to decide whether to get a new PC or a PS3. I already have a 360.
I also record and make my own video game soundtrack cd's. I record the music to my hard drive using Audio Cleaning Lab 10. That program will let you do anything you can think of to a music file.
So far I've recorded Hitman 2, Klonoa 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Second Sight, Shadowman, Space Station Silicon Valley, Time Splitters, Time Splitters 2, and Turok 2.

I feel the same way now. I don't enjoy my 360 anymore at all. I'm beginning to think that the Sony fanboys are right, that there are no good games on the 360. I'm sick to death of all my games, and I'm not really interested in anything on the release list for the 360. Also, console games really frustrate me because they are too hard and I can't cheat on them. At least with PC games you can modify config files to cheat.
Anyway, I have a Dell Demension 4550 (2.4 GHz - 1 Gig RAM - GeForce 6600 GT OC). Will a GeForce 7900 or 7950 work in my computer?
Do you have AGP or PCI-Express slots? If its AGP, I think the highest you can go is a 7800. If you have a PCI-E, then yes, a 7900 will work.
Yes, I have both AGP and PCI-Express. However, my processor speed is only 2.4 GHz, and the maximum amount of RAM I can put in is 1 GIG. I'm thinking of just selling my XBox 360 and buying a new computer. I'm thinking about getting a e-machines at Best Buy because they are super cheap.
For gaming, is it better to have 1 processor at 3 GHz, or a dual core at 2.8 GHz?
I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you dont get an eMachines. In my dorm, it seemed everyone either had a Dell or an eMachines, and the eMachines always broke. I dont know one person who didnt have a problem with their emachine PCs....a lot of lost homework and papers due to those computers.
My first recommendation is to build your own. After that, go with either a Dell or Gateway (reliable PCs and inexpensive).
And its better to have a dual core at 2.2GHz (let alone 2.8GHz) than a single core at 3.0GHz. Not only that, but on any brand dual core (AMD X2 or Core 2 Duo) you can overclock the processors to over 3.0GHz on air cooling!
Oh, OK then. Well, Dell is way too expensive, and I couldn't even afford a Gateway even if I sold my XBox 360 and XBox to Gamestop. So, should I just get a GeForce 7900 card then? Would it be worth it with only 2.4 GHz and 1 Gig of RAM. My computer won't upgrade anymore than that. I wonder if I should just trade in my XBox 360 for a PS3 instead.

"Teh Cell" has absolutely nothing to do with graphics.....nothing. It's the graphics card that has to do with graphics. The PS3 has a crappy GeForce 7800 GTX card, which is totally obsolete. Now, if they had waited until they could have used the 768 MB GeForce 8800 GTX, it would be a completely different story.
Also, I will never understand why Sony utterly refuses to put any memory into their game consoles. The PS2 has 4MB of RAM, and the PS3 has a rediculous 256MB of RAM. It cannot be that hard to put at least 1 Gig of RAM into a game console....it just can't.
