Okay, let me re-phrase that, nothing exciting.

No new ds, no zelda, no mario, no metroid, no kid icarus, no star fox, no, no, ....

Anything.

Except animal crossing, which looks great.

Microsoft announced that 20gig 360's will sell for $300, but they won't make any more of them.

So if you want a cheaper Xbox, get it now!

But the new 60 gig xbox will be $350, what the 20 gig one used to be(yesterday).

I wonder if the 60 gig hard drive will sell alone?

Everyone, you might(or not) have noticed that every user video on gamespot isn't working.

Ah well, I hope they fix it.

It was a pretty good game, except for the unnecessary backtracking at the end.

Seriously, I had to find the head of a golem, transport it to its body to open a door, then open one half of a bridge, then fly around to the other side of the level, find a giant battery, open the other side of the bridge, put the battery in a room I WAS JUST IN, , get the fuel cell that appeared when I placed the battery, go back to my ship, find another fuel cell, go on a broken-down spaceship, place the batteries in the generators, find an access code, go back to the space pirate homeworld, enter the code on another space ship to open a worm hole via a warp point in the homeworld to go to the last boss.

yeah.

Anyway, the only other gripe I had with the game was that the final boss music was pretty cheesy, and not dramatic like you'd expect the end of a trilogy to be.

The game had great controls and level design though, and I very much liked it.

If you thought Guitar hero 3 vs. Rock Band was bad, wait until....

THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Guitar hero 4 and Rock Band 2-They both have instuments, song creation, online play, downloadable content, yada yada yada.

What worries me is that these games are TOO similar. Think about it, what happens when when we run out of good rock songs to change into DLC?

What happens when a band is forced to choose to one game or another to be in?

What happens when 2 of your favorite bands are only in one game, but 2 are only in the other one?

What happens when rock band 5.4(expansion pack with mic stand and drum silencers) and guitar hero 8: hip-hop edition come out, sell a bunch of copies, and the new recycled editions(rock band 5.8 limited edition with mic stand stickers and bass drum foot petal silencers, and Guitar Hero 9: Bluegrass edition- with special apperance by Woody Nelson!) come out a year later?

Since most of the instuments that come with the games won't be compatible with eachother, people will have to choose sides in this music war.

And everything in the music game genre will change.

It was pretty awesome.

Only there were about 1000 biker guys there. Seriously, why do these biker guys like styx?

If you don't know, styx and boston are two rock bands that were big in the 70's, but they were still pretty awesome! There was an awesome Drum solo at the end of Styx's part of the show, and an awesome free-form guitar solo by tom sholtz of boston. Boston had an epic organ solo, too.

It ended with fireworks, but I had to go.

Anyway, I've been playing metroid prime 3 after borrowing it from tissueshoe. I stopped playing fire emblem: radiant dawn when I accidently hit the "end turn" button while trying to hit the "battle save" button and lost a character.....and 36 minutes of my time.

I got so annoyed I started to play metroid. my first thoughts are very positive, and I'll give a more-in depth blog about it later, with my apollo justice review.

think about it. no customiseable characters, no downloadable songs........Which are two things that will be in guitar hero world tour for the wii. What's up with harmonix for delaying the game for 7 months after the release of the xbox360 and ps3, then releasing an infirior port?

After thinking about what system I've constantly gone to for the best games, it became clear that my favorite system is....

The Nintendo DS

Back on November 20, 2004, The day it came out, I bought a DS, which is the same one I have today. My DS has pretty horrible battery life right now, because of how much I've charged it, but it doesn't matter. It plays some of my favorite games.

The first thing about the DS that's great is that it plays gameboy advance games, from fire emblem to the minish cap, these games always are good. Games like tetris DS showed me I was really good at puzzle games (my high score is 7,400 lines in tetris)

The Ds also has some of the most innovative games on it. Elite beat agents, warioware touched, meteos, phoenix wright..the list of games that were creative and challenging goes on and on. Strategic games I discovered while playing DS, like advance wars and FFTA, are still fun

Only time will tell if the wii will come out with enough unique, quality games to beat the DS in terms of awesomeness. I can't wait for the next generation of DS games, how about you?

...and it's gonna be about my favorite system of all time!
