There's not much to say about this one. Yeah, there's a lot of cliche's in this game. There's a secret princess, a young hero who has to learn to grow up, and a race of half-bird people.
Wait, what?
Yes, there are half-animal mutants in this game. I think the half humans, called laguz, are what save the story from being too cliche'. The humans have some major prejudices against the Laguz, and watching them play out was pretty cool.
What did I say about it being too predicatable?
Well it is. But they did a good job writing the dialouge and presenting a good story. I liked how they kept the black knight's identity secret, it made him more mysterious.
Soo, what do I think of this game as a whole? Best Fire Emblem game ever, next to the original, in terms of story and gameplay, this game really hit the mark.
The story is a little stock and predictable, but, hey, they dealed with some heavy topics and the characters were likable.
My score: 9.2
BUT THEN THEY SCREWED UP THE STORY IN THE SEQUEL!!!!!
next time, I will do another video bashing the awful mess of a crap story that is Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Oh, man, I can't wait to make fun of that horrid narrator!
