[QUOTE="dakan45"]yeah more or less.... still good to have a generic rpg but i demand the next elder of scrolls to have a unique lore.dakan45

I completley agree on this. Bethesda really messed up with the lore in Oblivion. Bethesda should feel free to change the lore if it makes the game better but that's not the case with Oblivion I'm afraid.

to be honest i wouldnt mind if it wasnt that "out of this word" like morowind...for example how about forests in the wood elf homeland? It will be even better if you are a wood elf and have to follow some kinda story..eg like Elder of scrolls redguard....that had voice acting.... am just saying  But in any case i dont mind something crazy either..... best creatures i ever seen are in gothic series.

Cyrodil's setting would be fine in the Summerset Isles if they added a few beaches but Cyrodil was supposed to be a jungle, have werelions, have werewolves, have a city called Sutch, and have dozens of cults to Dibella and it had none of those. Also, Redgaurd isn't part of the main series.

[QUOTE="dakan45"] ok works...all the ares are included in a scroll down bar... nice but not as accurate as i wanted to be in zooming down, which is cool because it doesnt really give away the location area. Eg: I always got somewhere near the area but i couldnt pin point the exact direction, now all i have to do is to open my mini map (not the entire worldmap)....and type the are in the interactive map and it will show me a zoomed in terrain with the exact location of the cave.dakan45

Great to hear! Are you going to start a Morrowind game now? Also, it wouldn't be a bad plan to occasionally walk to places once and a while so you can see Morrowind's great scenery and get used to it. Not every place you have to go to in the wilderness is a dungeon, sometimes you have to find a person, also some quests can be only started through exploration so do walk sometimes. Remember though, any enemy can easily kill you and diseases are dangerous. (Not as dangerous as Daggerfall but still...)

Wait what happen with the deciesies in daggerfall? Howenstly i like the olbivion diesases... either drink a potiion or teleport to a temple  I dont have problem with diying fast i got problem with slicing someone 1000 times and both him and me end up with broken armor at the end.. i mean come on its an rgp but weapons are made to kill if i am to weak to kill that enemy then let me know by either killing me fast or knock me down... to the ground.

In Daggerfall the diseases could kill you if you didn't cure them and potions were much harder to come by. In Morrowind you have the normal diseases, blight disease, and Corpus aka the Divine Disease (Don't ask why its also known as that I don't know) and your attributes will affect your fighting..

[QUOTE="dakan45"]Ok i got this http://www.morrowind-oblivion.com/interactive_map.php Now hit me with some kinda quest-mine/dungeon name to see if i can find it by typing it down...dakan45

Aleft (A random Dwemer Ruin), Endusal (MQ related Dwemer Ruin), Ansi (A cave), Tusenend (A Daedric Ruin to Molag Bal, make sure you get the name right though), and Shishi (A Velothi Tower).

[QUOTE="dakan45"]Well if they at least give me a freaking compass... dakan45

Notice a pattern here? :| Dakan, seriously (no offense intended), an in-game compass is not required for navigation. Helpful? Sure, but you're ranting on about a quibble, not a game-breaker.

no its not but all those things really add up to let me down, atleast either mark te quest or gimme an ingame compass... i guess i must print one of these and hold them near the screen when i play morrowind.... but seriously the oblivion compass in the center of the screen (without the quest indictator) would be great in my opinon if it was in morrowind.

Right click, see that arrow on the map? That's your compass. I don't think there are any mods that add a compass to your screen but you have that at least.

[QUOTE="dakan45"]well npcs in morrowind speak like wikepidia instead of making a dialogue, bethesda can use a codex like mass effect or something.dakan45

It's done that way so they could have more to talk to you about. Did you ever wonder why Oblivion's NPCs only had two topics?

yeah because at the time the game came out not many people cared about game's backstory and mythology or encyclopedia defintion of every race and namings like "dwemmer" in oblivion you heard of the aylieds and you do some quests, but you never really find much about them. Its really a shame....

Actually, Morrowind's great lore was something that people said was great about it. In Oblivion they changed the lore and ended up with something worse then the result if they had stuck to the lore, there was so much interesting things they could have had like a jungle with werewolves and werelions but they dropped that stuff for a generic fantasy game.

[QUOTE="dakan45"]Ohh and providing i have fast travel, quest compass or atleast a normal compass and horses and atleast voice acting in the critical parts of the game i wil replay morrowing. most importantly 1)horses or fast travel 2)compass or quest marked 3) a little help on what should i do or voice acting in important dialoguesdakan45

The fast travel I provided.

Quest Compass shouldn't be a problem with the fast travel since most dungeons aren't insanley huge in base Morrowind. If the fast travel works like Oblivion people can search for a quest compass mod and those voice acting mods add full voice acting for characters, we don't have one for every NPC but you could request that someone make one or make your own. The compass is in the game. Right click and look at your map, Norht is the top of the map, south is the bottom of the map, east is the right side of the map and west is the left side. I couldn't find a quest marker one though, you might want to search for that on your own or see how the fast travel one works.

duh there is a compass? well its not that accurate but i belive i can either open the map with ms paint and add the cordinates around the map or use an interactive morrowid map that i can find the locations provided i know the quest location.

Also, UESP is your best friend. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page

UESP has a guide for every Morrowind quest in the game. Also, you should consider trying Daggerfall, it's a lot like Oblivion only better IMO. It is less epic but has more political intrigue to it.

You have to think a bit but I have never had a problem figuring out where North, South, East, and West are. Basically, North is the top of the map, south is at the bottom of the map, East is the right side of the map, and West is the left side of the map. Basically, you just have to think a little to figurre out North, South, East, and West and then finding the place is simple as long as your patient.
