@greatquantum: More like the flavor of the month, the hype has come and gone. BG3 came out 1 month before it and currently has almost 10 times more concurrent players. Starfield didn't end up being the best RPG of the year let alone the game of a generation.
@bdrtfm: there's no universe in which having gamepass on PS is a good thing for Sony, it's simply not sustainable when most of the money goes to your rival. Why would anyone buy any games on PS besides their exclusives at that point? It doesn't make financial sense.
“We look forward to a future where players globally have more choice to play their favorite games,”
I like how he says that with a straight face after canceling Starfield for Playstation and inevitably making countless multiplatform games that would have been on PS too exclusive to Xbox.
@gargar: I know, I got a mini-rant about how they're all essentially rich homophobic cultists (I thought they were promoting "the gay agenda" according to those people, they should really make up their minds).
I hope more people educate themselves on the matter instead of spouting more "HoLLyoOd eLitES aRE eViL" bs.
There are 160 000 SAG AFTRA members and 11 500 WGA members. You don't know 99% of them. They're not elites, they're not rich, and some of them are barely scraping by. This is about them not the 1% making a lot of money like Damon or RDJ, they are merely respecting their union's wishes in support of their fellow union members who actually need a better deal than the garbage one that isn't currently sustainable.
And to stop AI from starting to replace more and more human workers. That "groundbreaking AI proposal" was actually horrendous, it was that background actors can be scanned for one day's work and their likenesses used forever. That's some scary dystopian nightmare right there.
Have some empathy, most of these people are regular people not famous or rich.
