[QUOTE="DangerousLiquid"]

[QUOTE="enterawesome"] Which in turn harms the industry. Do you honestly believe there aren't gamers out there who love to play CoD? The EA CEO is constantly railing on CoD and making it seem as if their goal is to annihilate the entire franchise, or "rot from the core" as he put it. That means there are less games in the world for people to enjoy, so yes, it does hurt the industry.turtlethetaffer

EA and Dice are so pathetic.

Talking crap about COD all the time because they are so insecure about BF3 and know they will get their ass handed to in terms of sales.

Wanna talk about whose insecure? The guy in the article/ video is whining about how anything bad said about CoD hurts the industry as a whole.

EA has been whining for months now, I'd be worried if I were in Acti's shoes, as well.

BF3 is a superior game interms of graphics (the game engine-destruction), soundquality.

and then putting all the technical characteristics aside, its the consumer's "opinion" that basically speaks when they say one game is better than the other.

On top of that, COD and BF are completely different in terms of gameplay. One is an actual military shooter and the other is just a fast-paced arcade shooter where you just run and gun.

so basically, all im saying is that the only actual way COD beats BF is interms of one's own opinion. Discuss.

Ribnarak

True. BF3 beats COD in graphics and visuals.

Anything else I guess is personal.

And to not call COD a military shooter is laughable.:lol:

No. And hardly anybody skipped school for Black Ops.

Big_Pecks

A lot of people in my school at least didn't go to school on Nov. 11 in 2009. And it was a regular school day.

You guys plan on skipping school/work for a game that should have released as DLC? :?-Renegade

It's a billion-dollar game. Not suitable as a DLC. ;)

-facepalm- ok, yes, IW has been more influential than DICE. But in a bad way. All this CODilization is really bad for the industry. While BF may not influence as much, it influences in a good way, not a bad way like COD.

el3m2tigre

For how many years FPS had been the same.? Kill 1 no reward kill 10 no reward...

COD actually rewarded people, some people don't like it but is good, fun and can be pick by any one, sure it can take a turn for the worst, but what ruin MW and COD games is not perks or killstreaks is actually the huge cheating.

But since is so easy to pull people do it,i know friends who go into a game just to try to find cheat, and they did a free for all in a stage and they all worked to learn cheats and glitches,MW and COD games what really need is servers dedicated servers, and better bug testing for cheaters, when it comes to been fun the game is ultra fun and rewarding and that is why so many people love it.

COD also rewards people for doing badly, which is a bad thing.

MW does, since MW2. Not Black Ops.

Auto aim FAIL. Everyone knows mouse and keyboard has the best controls and Counter Strike is still the best FPS multiplayer game.p3anut

Call of Duty destroys CS by a light year. And CoD on PC doesn't offer you auto aim. ;)

CoD Cycle:

  1. (Nov)Yes! New CoD!!! It's going to be the best game ever.
  2. (Feb) Holy **** CoD blows! It's unbalanced and unfair!!!
  3. (June) A new CoD trailer? Let's wait a little bit before we can say its a good game
  4. (Aug) OMFG! OMFG! OMFG! New COD gameplay is so FREAKIN' COOL!!! GOTY, best game ever confirmed!!!!
  5. Go to number 1

DragonfireXZ95

Pretty much, although I see less and less people liking CoD with each release so maybe there's hope for humanity yet. :P

I doubt it. Black Ops is by far the most popular COD in history, and more actively played than any game in the world.

And with MW3 destroying BO pre-orders, with the MP still to be announced, expect COD to rise.

Seriously, they just need to tone down the killstreaks, balance the weapons and perks, and bring back the fun factor that made COD4 a good game. Namely, good map design.

caseystryker

They will continue to support the game after release, to make sure it is the best experience people can have this fall. Don't worry about anything. ;)

But how do you know? You haven't seen the final product. (Although, if you've played MW2, it could be argued that you have.) You're just a blind follower then, eh?

And it's already been established that there was nothing revolutionary about CoD4, it took alot of stuff from Battlefeild and popularizd a genre.

turtlethetaffer

It is revolutionary. You just don't want to admit it in order to be unique.

Anyhow, we have the new Spec Ops video, which is very imposing.

Right, me agreeing with many people here makes me unique. It's not revolutionary. It took many ideas from Battlefeild, added some more stuff, sold a buttload of units, and made a genre poopular. Can't deny it.

If you're still going to imagine how MW took anything from Battlefield, we're done here.
