[QUOTE="DangerousLiquid"]

[QUOTE="Randoggy"] How do you have fun when a game isn't balanced? Randoggy

You play with friends, private. No toobtubing. No commandoes. No cheat perks. Just plain fun. But then you don't have friends, that's why you play BF. Feel sorry for you.

Haha, so you have to purposely leave certain things out of the game for it to even be fun, that makes sense, that's exactly how it should be done. You're last statement doesn't even make any sense. Yes I play Battlefield over COD because I don't have friends.....Explain to me how that works.

That will not be the case with MW3, since they will be patching it. Like Treyarch. ;) No worries.

And now you're resorting to insults.

Um, how would that be an insult? Some like it better without friends. It's not an insult

Literally nothing appeals to me in MW3. All I see is mostly the same type of linear campaign I played in MW2,a multiplayer that looks like an expansion pack almost if you don't include the interesting point killstreak system and theco-op modes. I rather find a cheap laptop that can run BF3 at minimum settings and play that game instead.

super600

Oh, I'm sure you never wanted to say that in the first place. I was the exact same when I started gaming COD and died all the time. But once you master it, nothing in your life can become more entertaining than Call of Duty. ;)

I rarely have seen people mastering MW2 when I watched my cousins. I seen my cousins just resorting to playing cheap or getting killed in cheap ways with a couple of good matches in between.

Agreed. That's why private matches are a blast. But hopefully, the MP online will be fixed by IW now. ;)

Umm, giving somebody the chopper gunner after 15 kills just so they cna get another 8-20 free ones with very little defense. Yeah, that's balanced.

Killstreaks are a reward for quickscoping and camping. All those without any real skill at FPSs can easily walk over their opponents by launching a grenade somewhere in the vicinity and then calling in more death from above from some killstreak. It's not even fun anymore, it's just so much of the same. No challenge, no risk, no reward, no real point other than to expand a score which means absolutly nothing than "look at me, I play this game mroe than you."

AvatarMan96

The choppers will be more easy to shoot down. But of course you need to get rewarded after killing people and doing other things, remember it's POINT STREAKS now. Points is the key to the choppers, AC-130s etc. Not kills only.

Also, if you simply hate everything COD, just go away and don't comment on it. You seem to hate it with a passion, no matter how good it turns out to be.

I guess you're the opposite: you love it with a passion, no matter how terrible it turns out to be

I admit MW2 has serious balance problems, but I have more fun playing it with friends (private) than with any game imaginable. But maybe you don't play games for fun? You want the sweetiest graphics and the strictest balance. I say there is no point in that if you're not having fun in the end.

Funny if I hate it so my, why do I own them all :|

I'm just saying, I don't agree with the killstreaks, they ruin any possiblity of the game being comeptitive and memorable. It's still fun, but it could be so much better.

More fun by removing killstreaks? Ah, you're funny. More competetive, sure. More fun? Not a chance.

Even if it snows a lotin the area I live in they won't cancel school.

I doubt you'll regret skipping school over this game. You know you'll have more fun with it than with anything else, if you have friends. ;)

[QUOTE="Heil68"]I think killstreaks are horrible for the game. Wasdie

Only horrible when unbalanced. If balanced, and not overpowered, killstreaks may be the key to success for IW and SG.

They've never been balanced. The more you add in, the harder it gets to balance them. Since they've never been balanced and there are more than ever, what makes you think they'll magically balance them all?

Also something that rewards players with extra kills or extra advantages becuase they are doing good can never be balanced. That's like giving the winning team in soccer an extra player for every goal they have.

IW completely left MW2 after release and never fixed the issues.

They have strictly informed us that the same thing will not happen with MW3. So if there is a glitch or a problem with a certain perk or killstreak discovered by any gamer, you can be sure they PATCH it.

This is one reason MW3 is going to be so much better than MW2.

Again, not revolutionary, just more of the same. Killstreaks. Yay, now they are split up into 3 categories. Still are overpowered and unbalanced.

Give rewards to the players already doing great. That's awesome.

How about this for a revolutionary idea. Nobody get's a bonus because they killed more than somebody else? Wow, that might be balanced.

Wasdie

So you mean we go BACK IN TIME? Like it used to be? Get the facts son, this is what makes CoD special and separates it from the rest of the FPS games. This is what makes it a billion-dollar brand. Rewarding the play is what makes a game popular.

And the killstreaks are not overpowered and unbalanced, until one has played the game and said so...
