Anyone else wish COD had NO perks like in COD1/COD2?

Wasdie

But that makes it to balanced and fair.

It makes it 50 times more balanced and fair, but at the same time 100 times less entertaining to play. :(

[QUOTE="carlisledavid79"]Isn't this game 18+ ?razgriz_101

I guess so, your point though? :?

people at school shouldnt be playing it.

Usually school runs till your 17 here unless your born in like April.

Well, I'm 18 and we usually study here in Sweden to the age of 19. Then we can choose to work or proceed to the university...

In the year of 2009, the majority of people decided not to take a day off from school to play Modern Warfare 2.

I saw that there was a similar thread on Modern Warfare 2 shortly prior to release, so why not one for the hugely anticipated Modern Warfare 3?

On November 8th, the biggest entertainment release of the year (and possibly of all time) will take place; the important question is, what will you do in order to get to play it?

Me myself, I haven't personally decided yet, but I believe that I may take a few days off. In my opinion, I think that as gamers it's our duty to commit our lives entirely to gaming, especially when it comes to such an important game and release. This, as I see it, is more than just a game launch; I think that it should be a day all gamers celebrate, whether we own a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 or a PC. I think we should hold hands that day, and just enjoy ourselves with one of the most gratifying experiences that entertainment can offer.

We've been having that same experience in FPSs for years. CoD doesn't do it nearly as good as games like Quake or Unreal. Most FPSs are pure entertainment, you just haven't played them.

Wasdie

Quake and Unreal are fast-paced, but I'm more into military shooters.

Well then CoD is number one just for you. It's commonly accepted that CoD is not the best FPS of all time. The most popular at the time doesn't just make it the best by default. Even the best FPS can get stale after awhile and people move onto different things.

True, but at the moment, COD is number one for me and 30 million other gamers. And if Infinity Ward and Treyarch keep doing quality games, and coming up with new ideas, that won't change anytime soon, IMO.

Ah, I played MW2 today with my friends, and it reminded me why CoD will ALWAYS be number one: action.

Headquarters on Scrapyard. 4v4. So much intense action, grenades flying everywhere, bullets tearing through here and there. Pure entertainment, simply. If it's possible to even come remotely close to having as fun in BF, you may as well shoot me.

COD will always be number one. Period.

WHO CARES?

It's all about MODERN WARFARE 3. What everyone will be buying. What will sell. What everyone in the REAL WORLD will be talking about. What everyone will abandon their girlfriends or school to play.

Not Gears, not UC, not Skryim---CALL OF DUTY.
