@PrpleTrtleBuBum: Unsure if it was just a mistype on your part but gamestop and gamespot are two seperate entities, sure it was just a mistype though :3
@StonedMagician: I would too but I don't think it can due to all the original sponsorships they had for the game and all. Like everyone in that universe had Apple products among other big names being in the game. It would be a hassle for a company like Konami to get those again.
@asnakeneverdies: Last I checked the book bundle version of The Silmarillion contains books from the first 3 ages of middle earth and only 1 of the books really covered the first age.
@jenovaschilld: Yeah but there's no way that in the digital world that you won't basically find things that look as if their similar no matter what. So it just seems silly. An patenting something thats digital hasn't really worked in the past since the internet is constituted as a grey area as far as the legal system is concerned due to it basically being a free domain.
@jenovaschilld: Honestly the entire things seems silly and I don't get how you can sue based on that as there's no way that Activision could technically have known at all.
@firedrakez: Yes but some of those games require you to then go through the microsoft store despite buying them on another store front. Its very weird. Microsoft Flight Simulator was one of the more recent ones guilty of this.
I'm not entirely sure how much I like the fact that games like the Elder Scrolls or Fallout would become a microsoft thing. I personally try to avoid dealing with the microsoft store itself and from what I've heard from various high profile modders its also not very easy to deal with when it comes to modding either.
