And if Kojima wants it to be his true vision they should be for the 360.

AHUGECAT

I had a look at your article you linked and it never stated anything about the Xbox 360..... What Kojima was saying is that he was dissapointed that the PS3 was not capable of his vision.  That doesn't mean any other current gen console would have fixed that it just proves that his imagination exceeds that of current technology.  He complained about the exact same thing about MGS2 when he realised the PS2 wasn't capable of having 1000s of enemies in the one area.  Besides that someone else posted another link to an article confirming that he was indeed mis-interpretated by his translator.

The PS3 is weaker than the 360.

And... i'm guessing the reason you never gave a reply back to me that the 360 was never mentioned in that article is because you agree with me that your talking rubbish?

Other thing i noticed, for someone that is such a huge fan of Microsoft why has he got a Mario picture as his avatar? :?

Guess it's even more proof that this thread is indeed intended to be a joke?

1) NES

2)PS1

3)SNES

4)PS2

5)Megadrive/Genesis

Leaving current gen consoles aside as they are still active and still selling with many games to come out over the years.

[QUOTE="Rigga911"]are you a fanboy?gamermanps2

Not really, I'm just shocked that the 'PS3s answer to Gears 2' is in such a different league from it. (lower obviously)

Tell the person who owns the PS3 to put his settings from Limited RGB to Full RGB and get an HDTV and you will see the difference ;)  And who says  this was supposed to be the PS3's answer to Gears of War anyways?  There both different games.

People have been hyping it up to be the PS3's answer to Gears of War 2 but I saw a review of it on a TV show and quite frankly, it looks awful.

Although the cutscenes and some of the backdrops are quite impressive, the gameplay graphics are poor. They almost look a generation behind Gears 2. The people, aliens and weapons look like they have about 10 contours between them and there are none of the stunning lighting effects and reflective surfaces that Gears 1 and 2 delivered. The characters and immediate environment are more comparable to half-life 2 (xbox) than Gears 2 (xbox 360).

The reviewer also said the levels were extremely linear and your often forced down corridors while more open level design would have suited it a lot better.

The combat also looks poor. It almost looked like a bad Halo 3 rip-off in some places. Certainly nothing like the splattering blood and popping heads of Gears of War.

Naturally it got a lower rating than Gears 2 that was reviewed the week before.

I was quite shocked watching the game played and reviewed. After all the hype and 'Gears-Beating' talk I expected something much better than what I saw. It happened before. Before Haze came out, they were saying it would be the PS3's answer to Halo 3 and look how that turned out.

And we should rely on those words from someone who has an Xbox 360 logo as their avatar?.......

actually the NES is the most innovative console everVendettaRed07

That i agree with you there... 8)

To be honest there's only 2 consoles i would say are truly innovative.  The NES & the PS1.  And not sure about innovation but the Atari 2600 gets a mention too for being the first console to get big sales.

As mentioned before the only thing innovative about the Xbox 360 is probably the first one to have 33% fail.  I dunno but  fact that the designers felt the need to implement a light to warn you if it's about to fail and no other console has had this tells me that they aren't confident in it's hardware performance.....

I'd say the PS3 first.  There are plenty of exclusive games there to keep you occupied enough.  What you get in an HDTV is basically a larger screen, clearer and brighter picture but still watching the same stuff and playing the same games you already have on ur Xbox 360 which you can already easily do on your normal TV minus the HD.

So in brief do you want to play something new with new games or play the same old thing with sharper pictures?

It's a no-brainer in my honest opinion.
