@arcaias Yes, that is why I own a 120 monitor. I know you guys are used to talking to console guys or people not very versed in PC gaming. I am neither of those (Well, I am a console guy. I have a PS4 and 360)
Guys, I am quite aware of the supposed differences between 60 and 120. My eyes do not see it. I feel my response time is no different, I don't see anything faster after 60 FPS. I don't notice smoother animations.
Then again, my eyes just don't notice this difference at first. My eyes didn't see the big deal about HD TVs when the first came out.
And about that video above, negligible difference. What I saw is a guy who started shooting high. The difference was in his head. I saw what looked like slightly faster gameplay, but was it sped up?
I need just a bit more evidence than that. Because I just don't see the difference.
The difference between 30 and 60 is very noticeable.
It is the 60+ debate that I don't get. After 60 FPS, then it becomes harder to notice. For example, NBA 2k14 plays at 120 FPS at on my PC. I can't tell.
@Gelugon_baat @Kevin-V I was about to say this actually. Thanks Van Ord.... You just made the point about a lot of games out there. CoD, Battlefield 4....
The exact definition of what you said. So, since this site has rated those games so highly shall we ask the same question of you?
The Xbox One reveal will go down as the most tone deaf, arrogant, and miscalculated reveals of all time. Mattrick has single-handedly killed the X1's chance at even coming close to winning this next gen. They were DOA and they can blame no one but themselves.
And now with all the flip-flopping and not sticking to their guns and actually EXPLAINING why their approach was anywhere near viable, they have literally turned into a PS4 copy cat. Things are not good for Microsoft on this tip right now and just wait until their dismal holiday season comes to light later on.
@focuspuller @Darkeus @stan_boyd Owned? Lol, I made one mistake. I am right about everything else. So I don't feel anything. I apologized. See, I know how to live up to my mistakes. ;-)
