@flufferfudger @Darkeus Well, they get away with it now man. So.... Ethics is VG Journalism is not in the best place and reviewers are not the most trusted. That is just me. People gave DAII a good score and it was crap.
And I am not going to buy a game when I don't have much faith in Bioware to begin with. Been burned by them way too much recently.
Gonna still wait for gamers to review this. Not a Van Ord fan and the Review sites could say anything. It is the gamers getting their hands on it and playing that will be the real indicator.
@esqueejy @Darkeus @sabretooth2066 Not a logical fallacy. People throw that around way too much. Any statement should always be taken as opinion.
And that was my opinion based on my experience. Most people I know who play CoD really do not play anything other than FPS and similar games. I may be wrong about this but I was not stating a fact either. ;-)
@warriors30 @Darkeus @sabretooth2066 Well, that is why I added this at the end of that paragraph, "And yes, that is my opinion."
Because you are right. I said in that in my samecomment that I like games with more oomph. I find CoD mindless, with not enough game to justify buying it. A lot of people like the game. I just have the opinion that there are better games to play. But if this is what a CoD player enjoys and doesn't want to expand then so be it.
@sabretooth2066 @Darkeus No, I am sad people haven't discovered better video games yet. :-) Otherwise, I really can't bring enough to really care. I already know what games I am buying.
Like I said, there are better games. I am sure most CoD players would not know that.
I am more baffled by its success that upset. I wonder how such a basic and linear shooter stays so popular.
@sabretooth2066 @Darkeus It doesn't. The only thing that bugs me is that people think this is one of the best games out there and it really diverts attention from the games that actually deserve that title.
But if people want to buy and play this, whatever. I will buy smarter, and in many ways better games. CoD is too mindless, too concentrated on MP and hasn't had a good SP campaign in many, many years. And yes, that is my opinion.
If people want to buy that, it is their money. Go for it.
@sabretooth2066 @Darkeus Just because people buy a game does not mean it is good. Sorry, I don't own one. Haven't owned a Call of Duty since Infinity Ward was not involved with Activision.
People buy the game because of habit. Too scared to try something else, they stick to the same game, even if they know nothing has changed and the game is not great. Dude is right, people will buy stuff just because other people like it. Humans love to follow the crowd. No different for CoD.
