Now for those who still follow me around these parts, I have a Youtube channel that I occasionally put links to in my blogs over the last while. I have done a few videos recently showing off my PS3 Collection and an unboxing of a PC game that came out today, which if you're interested in is right here!
Anyway, I've been playing a good bit of DiRT 2 recently mainly thanks to the Giant Bomb's Thursday Night Throwdown that happened a few weeks back. The game is really fun and some of the tracks look gorgeous but at the end of the day, I still like the first one more mainly because it was more rally than rallycross etc but the 2nd is still tops.
I got Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 the same day that PSN went down thus never got to play them online until last Sunday with the latter where I played some co-op with good ol Denis aka NeoJedi aka DBoyDen aka The Montreal MFer! :P Was very enjoyable and the single player was a lot of fun also, which I fnished 2 weeks ago. Glad I didn't have to resort to hints online but a few did bug me for a while but you feel like an idiot when you realise what you had to do.
Mortal Kombat is easily my favourite game this year thus far and that is very surprising to say the least. I just had a blast playing the story mode and doing the dfferent challenges on the challenge tower, which I have yet to finish since they're getting pretty hard now. Can't play online due to the stupid online pass having to go through the store, which isn't up but if anyone has the PS3 version of MK and wants to fight online, hit me up when the time comes.
Outland is another game I played and completed recently and my god, that game was excellent! Seen a trailer shortly before it came out and I knew I had to play the game then. Got it and loved it and its the best XBLA game to come out in ages and should be great if you enjoy Metroid and the later Castlevania games since it has elements of those two as well.
In conjunction with the PC game I got today and did an unbxoing video of, I am playing through the first one and quite liking it thus far. I know a lot of people loved The Witcher and going to see if I am in that camp once the end credits roll, which I would like to see sometime this year (or just check them on Youtube :P)!
If you really want to follow my ramblings etc on a more regular basis, best bet is to follow me on twitter where I am DarroM85. A few of you here already are and appreciate but for those that still check me out here, I am on there FYI.
That is all for now so take care people!
