Vote for your favourite game!

Hey guys, I decided to do a little poll contest in which your the gamespot users tell me what your favourite game of all time is or one of your favourite games if you don't have a actual favourite and the first 24 will be put into a the ultimate favourite game contest in which I will put two games together and then you vote on which one you preferred if you played both or whatever.

To start off I will put one of my favourite games into the mix and that is Legend of Zelda:  A Link To The Past.  Start sending in your games people and good luck.

Third time's a charm!

Hey once again.  This is my 3rd video review and hopefully my best one yet since I took the problems with the last two and hopefully did a better job this time around.

The game is New Super Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS and it is a great game that gives you fond memories of playing the classic Mario games.

Credit goes to Gametrailers and IGN for the use of gameplay footage in the review.

Well, enjoy and don't forget to give me some questions for my Q & A blog as I haven't received one since the last.  Thanks

Wii Will Rock You!

[video=cXYwljDx5b0Nuzc]

Here is my latest blog online for you all.  It basically goes on about the Wii and the reasons why it should succeed and hopefully it does after the Gamecube disaster.

I will have another blog up today or tomorrow possibly a review of New Super Mario Bros since I did finish the game and rated it so look forward to that.

Once again feel free to leave some feedback and give me some more questions to answer for future Q & A blogs.

I got it!

Well, this isn't really in any relation to games or whatever but I am happy to announce that I have passed my Bachelor Science degree in Software Technology and will be getting that in the post come August.  I am so happy about this as I failed two exams but due to my overall performance over the year, they gave me compensatory passes meaning I don't have to do those stinking exams EVER again!

This has made my weekend and I am now practically done with education now as I have been in it for over 15 years (over 2 thirds of my life) and just want to get a good job with good pay so I can get some more of the stuff I love and that is games.

I also like to say congratulations to all those ones out there that have gotten degrees in any shape or form this year also and good luck on the job searching.

As for my next video blog, I will have one up later today probably just going through games played and bought etc and more questions probably so until then, see ya.

Someday!

Well, another blog up and running.  I am hoping that I will get to play these so called great games someday even if it is a few years from now or maybe not but I will play them and will be looking forward to those days.

Anyway, I have decided that my next video review will be on Guitar Hero even though I haven't fully completed the game but I know the gist of it to comprise a review so that will be on here towards the end of the week.

If you watch this blog and do have any of those games and live in the UK, any chance you are willing to sell them at a reasonable price?  Just asking!

PSP! (Permanent Shelf Position)

Well some of you guys out there adore the PSP and hate the DS and others love the DS but hate the PSP.  I am one who likes both but prefers one over the other due to the fact that it has more interesting games coming out for it and that half the games coming out for the preferred handheld ain't BLOODY PORTS!!

Masoumi is very well on the point in his latest blog in that the PSP is just an untapped resource waiting to get out and provide us with its true potential rather than ports that we all know will be a lot better on their bigger brothers.  Sure there are a few original games on there but some of them are not really pushing the PSP to its limits or really blowing us away in terms of graphics, sound and gameplay.

I only took out my PSP there recently to play Daxter, as it was the only game that I was interested in playing for it and although there are a few games on it I wouldn't mind playing, they are not buying material.

The PSP needs to spread its wings and show its true form in the future  and have unique original games that showcase the PSP or else like the title of the blog suggests, it is going to be a permanent shelf position and never be played again by me!

The new and (hopefully improved) Video Blog!

[video=JnYzl2ev5b8EszA]

Well, I got the problem sorted out in a way and thus here is my latest blog.  I have did some changes with the inclusion of titles and credits and hopefully it is for the better. Let me know what you guys think and should I stick to this format.

Once again, rock on!

Houston, we have a problem!

I have some bad news for fans of my blogs out there.  Due to some error, which is unknown, I am unable to actually do any more video blogs at this time since I have done one today twice but when I try to import the video, an error has occured and it isn't successfully being imported but instead a very small portion of it is.

If you are an expert in Windows Movie Maker, then maybe you would know what this problem is because when I click on finish after doing the video, a dialog box appears stating an unknown error has occured.

Until I get this problem sorted out, I do not know when my next video blog will be but hopefully if someone knows then pm me with the solution.  Until then, I will provide blog posts with my thoughts etc and will be back on your screens soon!

Rock on!

HD is awesome!

For those of you who did not check out a recent blog of mine, I got a new HD Ready LCD TV a few days ago so I will be able to play my Xbox 360 in glorious HD. I got the HD AV Cable in the post today and set it up and all that and put on GRAW and it looked absolutely class in HD but there was one problem: NO SOUND!!

I tried everything from putting the red and white connectors in the red and white slots in the back of the TV to putting them in scart but no luck. I then found out that I may have to get a jack to twin phono socket and put it in the PC audio input so I will be going to town tomorrow to check if I can. If nothing happens then the cable is totally faulty and will have to return and get the actual official one in the shops for twice the price I paid for this one.

Anyway, take care and will let you know if this problem gets sorted out.

My next video blog will likely be up tomorrow or Monday so see you guys then.

UPDATE:  Got the sound problem sorted out and it was the jack socket I needed but had to get the official cable sold in shops for it but hey I got two now so have a backup in case one breaks.

The 360 does look so much better in HD like I was playing Oblivion and just found a new love for it as even though the game looked great before, it looks a lot better.  GRAW looks great in it as well but stated that before.
