Scientists have proved that earthquake waves are distorted as they travel down into the earth. And from those waves they have concluded that there are layers to the earth and from the distortion of the waves, the layers are in a circular shape.

How can a plane or boat travel all the way around the world and come back to the same point without changing direction? Are you sure it's even been done? You haven't seen it physically, just in the paper, which you can't really prove to be telling the truth. And if the world is round, then how come an airplane going straight through the air won't go into outer space?

Alright, here's an experiment you yourself can carry out:
1. Buy a telescope. Not a cheap one either, you're going to need some grade A stuff. Expect to blow at least $5k (Im sure you can raise the funds through the FE organization). Alternatively, you can just find a local astronomy group and tag along with one of their members for a few nights (this would be preferable since you're going to need help locating planets). 2. Take your new telescope, and a camera, and hunt down mars, jupiter, and/or saturn (mercury is probably way beyond your patience/skill to track down, and venus. Now, take a picture of either one or both. 3. Repeat step two over the course of about a month or two. 4. Compare the pictures you yourself took 5. If they're all the same, congrats! you just proved that the planets are flat! If they're different, that means the planets are rotating and thus are spherical, unless you want to revise your theories to say that the planets magically change their form every night. Keep in mind that to prove this you're going to need really detailed images (hence the need for a hella expensive telescope). Oh, and dont forget that if you see dots traveling over the planets in some of the pictures, those are moons that are oribiting those planets, which would also disprove the FE "theory".
Until you do that, I'll believe all the proof thats out there that points conclusively to that fact that the planets, including Earth, are round, since as it stands, you have none. So you're that just because something is flat, the clouds and stuff in the atmosphere won't move and the appearance of the planet won't change? That is a horrible argument you just told me
