Great, now let's see every big publisher try and copy that for 5 years in a feeble attempt to outmatch it in terms of sales figures and relevance but never doing so because they don’t understand that simply copying something won’t redirect and audience that is already sold on that of which you are copying.
And that is why they will all fail. Stop aiming to be the COD or WOW killer and just do your own thing and the next thing you know you’ll have struck gold with a new audience.

Um...as much as I would love for that to be true...nope. I mean the cracks are defiantly there but we are a ways away from the days where the big AAA publishers fall. However it may not be the end, but we certainly can see it from here.
One thing that is kind of irking me aesthetically is that the new guys ditched that gothic comic book art style that the first two games had and are instead going with this somewhat Nolanised style (though it still looks a hell of a lot better than what Nolan did in Rises) But I guess I get it, these are the early days, everything is a little saner at this point, Batman is less experienced and less confident hence his outfit looking more practical and less thematic and intimidating.
