[QUOTE="Deagle_11"]That case is kinda ugly, no offense, and it's really expensive :D. Go for the antec 900 or thermaltake armor, those cases are way cheaper than that Lian-Li and they can definetly fit SLI rigs. Plus they have way better cooling.Makari

Heh, it isn't the most attractive case, I agree. However I have used Lian-li in the past and I've been pleasantly surprised at the cooling. I did look at the armor, but excessive size and weight are really a premium for me, so I'd like to get the smallest case I possibly can fit everything in. I've always thought lian-li's cases were surprisingly-well ventilated considering how they don't really look the part.

Regarding a lot of the thermaltake cases, I think I am actually the opposite of a lot of y'all at the moment. In college I had a box probably typical of a gamespotter, but I also had a lot of like-minded friends to appreciate the pretty glow. At this point, I'd be happy with a sleeper - the case can look boring as long as it's a monster inside. :D

edit: wow, I may have to take that back - the antec 900 looks -really- nice. check out those fans! :D thanks dude.

The 900's solid steel, though the case itself is mildly sparse.. so it's much heavier than an aluminum Lian-Li, but it's no P180 or anything either. Have you considered the PC-6x series at all? They're a bit cheaper and can fit an 8800 series card okay. I do honestly wonder if that case you've linked on Newegg would fit a modern card - the way the HD bay is laid out seems like it would almost certainly block the edge of a card, let alone an SLI setup. edit: i was suggesting the pc-6x despite being a mid-tower because it's very light and portable for a mid :) i use one myself. if you don't mind the weight, the 900 should be awesome too.

Yeah, i have a 900, and I have an 8800gts in it. It could easily fit gtx/ultra's, but you wouldn't be able to access two out of the six hard drive bays. It's a very s3xy case though. ;D

yes the case looks like its big enought but why aren't you getting a full size case there so much bigger and have more cooling for example that case you have listed has awful cooling where if you got a full size case you can get something like this for cheaper that has much much better cooling http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021&Tpk=antec%2b900 which will be nice considering your getting a sli rig which needs good cooling mastershake575

The 900 and that Lian-Li case are both mid tower ATX's.

I'm buying from Newegg and I'm trying to keep the price under $830 including shipping

TugboatTheGreat

Wait a sec you want to only spend $830? You could build a way better comp with that money.

I'll be getting a Q6600 G0 soon. I really want to overclock it as I'll have an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro on it in a very high airflow case. I also need this CPU to last me 4 to 5 years though. I was wondering, what is the main part of overclocking that shortens the CPUs life? Is it the extra heat, extra voltage, higher FSB, highers speeds (multiplyer), or what?Zaber123

Heat and voltage.
