I would guess at best they could thinker with the RAM, imagine instead of the allegedly 8 they get 12 or 16 in there, in the long run it would make a world of difference, but that would more investing more money.

@plaintomato Consoles are sold at a loss at first (at least Sony and MS ones) so you are suggesting they should shorten their life spams?

Because you know, after 2 or 3 years tops nobody buys the consoles in the market anymore, they just want something new, you really are on to something, ditch the hardware as soon as they start breaking even...

You even realize that some of the best games for every console ever made came out after 3 years on the market?
How many games would a studio make? One? Before they had to rethink everything and get used to the new dev kits?

I think its because they both went with AMD, its gonna be interesting to see how do they split up.

@Micropixel You mean more developers are going bankrupt because they can't afford the higher development cost and people only buy heavy PR/Advertised games like CoD and Halo?
