[QUOTE="Demigodz"][QUOTE="Demigodz"]Allright.......... I NEED HELP..............PLEASE
Just One Simple Question. I Own A Plasma. 42" Panasonic . And When I Play My Ps2 There Are The Black Lines At The Side. IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET RID OF THESE??????? IF SO HOW????? And Does Any One Know If the PS3 Will Be The Same (With The Black Lines) .
burnsound
Can Anyone Help????
The reason there are black lines on the side is because most ps2 games don't support widescreen, thus black lines appear on the sides for a widescreen tv.Luckily all ps3 games will support widescreen.To solve your problem you should stretch your image to fit the entire tv via either the tv or the ps2 configuration.(this will distort your image though).And since you have a plasma you pretty much have to stretch it or risk ruining your television through burn-in.
urgent: when you have a plasma beware of burn-in!Black lines and the heads up display are your enemy also cutting your play time short will help avoid burn-in.
BECAREFUL plasma tv's are very very vulnerable when it comes to burn in!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey thanks For The Response.
But Even When I Set It To Widescreen When Im Playing GTA SA It Still Has Those Black Lines.? And Yes Im Well Aware Of The "Burn In". My T.V Is A 9th Gen Plasma I Think It Has Something Built In To Prevent Such A Thing. And I'l Be Past My "Break In Time" Soon. So Im Not To Worried About "Burn In"....Plasma Best For Gaming I'd Say
