As a person who is not a fighting game fanboy and does not feel the need to ever spend money on fighting games, this is welcome news to me. I can play through and beat the whole game with the free character if I want (doesn't matter if I get bored of it like I typically do with fighting games) and if it is enjoyable enough, I can buy additional characters and still probably never spend the $60 it would have cost me to buy it at the store (hint: I wouldn't have ever done it).

That being said, not wasting my money on the X-Bone.

@Rayzakk I would consider myself a non-church going christian and it is not anything about hate. It is a matter of equal rights for others. If the christian homosexual haters, would just leave it alone and allow people to marry who they want, this would be a non-issue. And whether or not YOU believe that homosexuality is a sin does not matter. It is not your duty to protect me or any one else from the wrath of god. I said it in a prior post and I will say it again. You can have the belief that homosexuality is a sin, but know that you are being a bigot and are no different than a racist. But alas, just like racism, it will be overcome as more youth is injected into society and the hate will slowly die off. Is it not our job as christians to love all?

@Defender1978 @PotHeel Yeah, but it is a story that does involve game companies and I don't expect you will be seeing any news about this on CNN. Got to write enough articles about something to fill up the space. And like you said, you can't ignore it, you're intrigued by it which makes you stay on their site longer.

@FlyingAce1016 I'm with you there, why can't we all just get along? Of course, that would start with people staying out of other peoples business, like in this situation where the religious fanatics feel it is there duty to stop homosexuals from 'sinning'.

@jcnba28 @DenverNick How did I just prove your point? You are saying that they should be separated out from straight people by creating their own special service. I am saying that is horribly wrong.

It's funny how these things always boil down to a religion vs. atheism argument. The fact of the matter is that homosexual people are treated as if they are less than orthers because of who they are. To those against homosexuality, it does nothing to harm you and should be none of your concern. If your belief is that it is a sin, go ahead and believe it, it is not your job to protect everyone in the world from sin. But know this, you are a bigot, no different than the racist people that still roam the earth. And just as what happened with racism, your thought process will slowly be weeded out and common sense will prevail.

@jcnba28 Why? So they can be singled out like how we used to have colored water fountains and white water fountains.

Get with the times!

@lorenzoa88 @DenverNick @m4a5 Let's not forget that not only does the law protect freedom of religion for all religions, it also protects our rights of freedom FROM religion. We supposedly live in a free country, yet certain people are not free to do as they choose when it comes to these topics. As you said, there are too many christians in the country that believe we are a christian nation when in fact, we are not.

@FlyingAce1016 And religion shouldn't have a say in a government matter. It's called the separation of church and state. The bible, nor any sort of religious figure should define how someone legally binds themselves to someone else.

@m4a5 The problem is that it is not fair to not let them get 'married' and instead just calling them civil unions. It makes them out to be less to say that they cannot get 'married'. The thing I find the most abhorrent about the whole thing is that there is supposed to be a separation of church and state, yet we have opponents of this saying that the bible defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman. Since when does the bible define our laws?
