Looking at it,sega is pretty much transforming itself into a very PC oriented publisher, two of their three best selling franchises this gen(or last) were PC only(TW and FM) and now they add CoH to that(and maybe the Dawn of War games as well)? Interesting.MrYaotuboThey are going back to their American roots.

DC was relevant 2 gens ago? It was a good system. But they should have waited a bit longer for the Saturn to sprout at least a couple legs before rushing it out that early. it died to quick. Good thing the Xbox saved Shenmue.all I can say is that I owned all four relevant systems that generation (PS2, NGC, SDC, XBOX) and I would rank Xbox 4th.
was it bad? no.

was it under-rated? no.
it simply was what it was.
I don't see how, MS is a company that needs to continue increasing profits to get out of debt. We both know this.[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="Zophar87"]
I think we're both talking about completely different things now.

Obviously, but the point stands from the OP. That Microsoft has yet to make profit from the Xbox brand, which would be true if the numbers in this thread are correct. In order for the brand to start making profit then it would need to get out of the negative first and foremost.
They are no longer losing money which is the main thing TC is saying, his chart shows they are gaining profits, so how are they not? They are not GENERATING profit according to TC's charts as in they are not bringing in money that is not being thrown into something else but they are MAKING profit. The chart is bull anyway, and al other theories of TC has been debunked, and this thread is at page 50 as of now for no real reason even before the pron jokes, this made it past 30.You have to have an increase in profit to get out of debt. So how is profit not the word to use? If you are a company in debt boss man says we need to increase profits. What do you think the word profits is in that sentence for. I see what you are trying to say, but I think you are mixing up meaning.[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="Zophar87"]
If you're negative $100 in your bank account and you make $90 then you're still in debt. They're not making profit until they go out of the red.

They are MAKING profit. Not Not GAINING profit. What's the opposite of Profit? Do you need to go back to elementary school to figure that out? There profits INCREASED those times that were not red. "profits increased" You know what increased means right?[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="Zophar87"]
Once they get out of red, then they'll be making profit. How hard is that to understand? Do you need to go back to elementary school?

The chart, outdated and not official as it is, is "suposingly' showing MS is still in debt. In order to get out of debt you need to make PROFIT to get out of it. Obviously they are no longer LOSING money which is why the numbers at the bottom are not RED, which means they are MAKING PROFIT to get out of DEBT, because if you want your debt you owe to go away you need to have enough to start PAYING IT OFF, which requires PROFIT. You can't LOSE more than what you already DON'T HAVE. So yes, the charge is clearly showing that they are making PROFIT, and still are.[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="Zophar87"]
Yeah, okay. At least if I ever go against a GS user's business for any reason then I know who I want to compete against.
Say I make $100 but I spent $90 of it, I now have $10. The following day I make $80 and now I have $90. I've still lost money even though I made money the following day.

Not profit yet, but they're headed in the right direction.
You have to have an increase in profit to start getting out of debt, if you have no profit to contribute to the debt than you aren't getting out.Let's try this slower. Now look at the charge/ The numbers get OUT of the negative, which means they were losing money, and are not black which means POSITIVE, which means they are MAKING PROFIT. Ok? Now can you count to 10?[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="Zophar87"]
Look at the total you dumb f*ck...
