HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Short answer, no.

The Jaguar was Atari's last hardware system and by most people's estimation it only had two good games. AvP and Tempest 2000.

I'd say if you want to have a nice, unusual legacy system then it's worth picking up, but don't expect a great library of games you might have missed like you'd see on a Saturn or Dreamcast.

then most people are wrong, the Jaguar had more good games then just that, like a great port of Wolfenstein 3D with new weapons not found on the PC version, Iron Soldier, Iron Soldier 2, Battle morph (cyber morph isn't very good, but the sequel is much better) and Project Skyhammer.

With that said... it's not the greatest console out there, it has some good games, but I'd sooner reccomend a Saturn or even a 3DO

Well yeah, it does have some good games. And it would be a great novelty to pick up at a cheap price. But that's the problem, finding one at a cheap price. They sell for far more than they're worth. The few amount of games that are good on it aren't worth that price, and some of the better ones can be found on other systems now.

And that's even if you find one that works. I friend of a friend who's into collecting far more than me even (his goal is to eventually own every console released in the U.S.) bought 3 before finding one that works as intended.

Weird, maybe your friend doesn't buy from trusted sources when usual people say the Jaguar is well-built. The CD add is another story. I found a few on Ebay for low prices around $67-80, it;s not that expensive anymore nowadyas. The games seem to be the most expensive area IMO.

^ You and I have a far different definition of "good games".

Compare that list to a similar of SNES, Genesis, or even 3DO games (the CD-i's competitior). You'll find soooo many games that are much better on any of those systems.

Emerald_Warrior

You haven't played nearly any if at all the games on that list.

Did you read the rest of the thread? In my first post I talk about my school having a CD-i for edutainment stuff, and in another post I talk about how a buddy of mine bought a CD-i with a box of games and we all had a grand time laughing our butts off at most of them.

You what they say "ass"uming makes you, right?

I didn't name one edutainment game, which is not even the majority of games. And only 2 f the game listed are "FMV games" This is you trying to dodge the fact you haven't played any of the games on that list. I'm not assuming anything you're being a jerk.

Why do all religious people believe the minute it's legal for same-sex couples to get married, EVERYONE is going to be one and run to the altar to NEVER procreate again. "Positive direction" my ass, you just want people to conform to your warped sense of self-rightous dogma. Get a life and then maybe you'll have less time to be conserned about who is getting married.

Nibroc420
Alright, lets end all those drug rehabilitation centers. No more Hospitals either. No-one give a **** about anyone else. Lets not love one another and work together to improve the world for future generations. Great plan Yusuke, it would really push the world in a positive direction if we all just cared less about each other and the lives of one another.

[QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="Serraph105"] I was thinking that it makes you someone who doesn't actually know the history of marriage.br0kenrabbit

Peope don't use the history of marriage excuse when it was not intended for gay people this thread has gone on long enough.

Gay marriage is quite ancient, why ignore it the history of it?

The Romans did it, the Chinese did it, the Greeks did it, Native Americans did it...

Ok, but still was not intended and was not when it first went around which makes that excuse invalid and because of that it will never work and there will be threads like this.

We are done for, N.Korea and Iran are cross-working to get rid of ISrael, thew U.S. and other countries. Korea North has working nuke experiements, which they will test on the U.S., which will be terrible, and Iran will be able to use their nukes as well. The issue is many countries in the ME will perish due to Irans Nukes, which because it;s the desert, exlosions and radiation poisoning will spread easily. N.Korea, is in a place where attacking them before they launch could have impacts on surrounding countries, and N.Korea is not afraid to suicide it;s own people. Which means we would not be able to stop the nuke weapon launch unless we stop it on the way, but then the countries around that explosion will perish. There's no way out, we should have taken the nuke threats more seriously! What can we do now?

As far as I'm concerned, FFX-2 is not canon and as such should not be taken seriously, despite what Square-Enix has to say about it. To me, the events of X-2 NEVER HAPPENED. While the gameplay is decent, the story is absolutely moronic. The only reason that game happened was because they wanted more $$$. And yeah, sure, all the other games pretty much happened because they wanted to make money, but at least those games had soul. They were carefully planed. X-2 was just done to further cash in on X's success.

Also, I think these numbered sequels are a dumb idea and do nothing more than damage the brand. And the sad part is Square-Enix continues to think it's a good idea. You'd think after XIII-2, they'd give it a rest.

Simply someone who believes that marriage is between a man and a woman.

I was thinking that it makes you someone who doesn't actually know the history of marriage.

[QUOTE="Nibroc420"][QUOTE="Yusuke420"]It's none of your damn business if they get married, buy car, or F*CK for hours in their backyard (provided it's private). It's has nothing to do with you, why do you have an opinion on SH*T that doesn't consern you?

Yusuke420

I dont know, Why do people care when someone guns down schoolchildren in a different state, it's not their school, their state or their children. It's only about wanting the best for humanity, and trying to give people purpose.

What does this issue have to do with "giving people purpose" or "what's best for humanity"? Also how can you compare gay marriage rights with school shootings? One is a happy couple starting their life together and the other one is senseless murder. Something is wrong in your head if you think getting involved with personal relationships is the same as preventing child murder.

unless they have sense which technically means they are assisting in injuring them selves with unintended damage regardless if they are used to it or not.

[QUOTE="ghoklebutter"][QUOTE="DerveCreaves"][QUOTE="ghoklebutter"] I know very few women who think that women should be exempt from the death penalty. And the ones who do oppose the death penalty altogether. Also, as for your point about child benefits - that's a straw man, sweetie.

it;s not a straw man, what is the gay marriage thing for? Equal rights? At the moment they are fighting for 89% rights. Explan how that is a straw or just admit you are a freaking idiot like ever freaking other person in this forum responding to religion man moses. Oh wait, you can;t you haven't done it the last 3 posts. Alson anecdotal evidence> LOL, national surveys say other wise in more than just this country as well, and why do people still not do it? Lol anecdotal.

It's true that women are less likely to receive the death penalty, but that's not an issue because the death penalty is bullsh!t anyway. And it's only because of our cultural norms, which, by the way, many women oppose these days. Anyway, I'm just talking about the attitudes of women I know in regards to the death penalty. And those particular women are the ones all passionate about equal rights, just so you know. How many of the women in those surveys were opposed to sexism in all of its forms? And the reason I'm not arguing with Moses is that he has no argument.

he had an argument until he posted below the topic title.
