God this sucks...I have nothing to do. I can only play with the net for so long...and freecell gets boring quick. God I wish my work comp could support a half decent game. Better yet, if I could play FFXI here...I could get some REAL work done! Ugh... Now what to do?

Lazy , lazy Sundays. So far I have:
1) Been woken up early AGAIN by my dog...
2) Washed the car, inside and out.

That's a pretty good list...considering.

Now I am pondering what I want to do...I think I may be dragged out grocery shopping. But I want to start playing FFXI again today. Maybe...if I start playing I can convince the woman that I CAN'T leave the party I am in and she'll do it herself! He he...that might work.

Yup, I was right. It has been a long day...and it's only 5:12 PM. The puppy has gotten herself into trouble about 20 times today...for chewing various items around the house. I was able to grab a nap but the girlfriend was making cookies (making the apartment unbearably hot...) I figure on playing a butt load of Final Fantasy XI tonight to pass the time. That should do it.

The picture of the puppy is few months old. She's MUCH bigger now. Her name is Shelby (after Carroll Shelby, man who made the Shelby Cobra and did the Mustang) She was born December 28th, 2003 and she now weighs a whopping 60 lbs. She can chew threw supposed "Indestructable" toys...and has managed to start chewing a wall. (don't ask). She's my bestest friend and I would be lost without her! So here's a couple more puppy pics from awhile ago. I will try and get some newer ones up soon.

Woke me up early this morning...Grrrr....this has all the makings of a very long day.

I find myself looking to one of my old favourites, the Legacy of Kain series. I haven't played any of these for a bit, well, since Defiance first came out. I have been looking at sites to see if there is any hope for the series... I really hope to see a new game, hopefully for this gen of systems too. I miss the days of playing the original Soul Reaver and how excited I was to play it. It seemed like I was playing through the movie I always wanted to see... and unfortunately, very few games capture this excitement these days. I don't know if it's me getting older or what but games just aren't as inspiring as they were a few years ago. Seems like every game out now either resembles another game already out or is completely devoid of production value. The music is lacking, or the graphics glitch, or in the case of some more original titles the gameplay is completely ruined. I find myself missing the 32-bit era of game machines... This gen of systems, well, most games look the same. There hasn't been that "Graphical Masterpiece" that we used to find. I feel the excitement slipping and have high hopes for the next gen of systems.
