[QUOTE="Devils_Joker_22"][QUOTE="shoeman12"][QUOTE="D9-THC"][QUOTE="shoeman12"][QUOTE="jointed"] [QUOTE="shoeman12"]i no but the liberal media will still ignore it and report only bad things going on over there. the democrats will still ignore it and say we're losing and need to withdraw. but we are winning. people need to be patient. pretty soon all the terrorists over there will be gone and it will be a success.CRUNK3050
I actually laughed out loud when I read that ...
why? there are al qaeda terrorists over there right now and we are destroying them. You don't seem to understand that as long as people occupy their land, there are going to be radicals who will martyr themselves for their heritage and homeland.
If we continue at this pace, our country will be bankrupt before Al-Qaeda is wiped out.
al qaeda is getting wiped out from iraq though. and do you think that if we withdraw from iraq, afghanistan, and the whole middle east terrorists will just leave us alone?Al-Qaeda are just a handy name to put to extremists. If iraq owned the US, and iraqi police patrolled your streets with guns stealing your natural resources having killed your leader and thrown your country into turmoil, you would be pissed. As you would grab a gun and shoot one, to teach them a lesson not to **** with america. If you knew shooting one guy wont help, you'd join a bigger organisation. One of the ones in iraq is Al-Qaeda, But its the attitude of all the civilians that is what you need to stop, and by forcefully occupying their country, that isnt gonna happen.
Wow you are ignorant. First of all Al Qaeda is not a fancy word for extremists. It's a organized terrorist group that was formed after the Soviet war in Afghanistan. They were bombing civilians and military in the Clinton years. Hate to tell you but terrorism didn't start when Bush got in power, it's been going on since the 7th century, and to pretend like history started on 9/11 is ignorant. Clinton was bombing Iraq for years. And the "leader" that we killed was a tyrant. He killed 10's of thousands of his own men, women and children, we found trenches full of them. The reason for the violence was because of the revenge killings from the Shia majority that was opressed by Saddam for all those years, then you had the Syrians and Iranians filtering in insurgents. But what does this matter now that we beat them? Murtha even admitted it.
No, i think you missed my point. I know they exist, im saying 50%+ (Im playing it safe, its probably more than that) of terror attacks arent by Al Qaeda. Its just easy for the media to say they did it, then explain complexitys of split off groups, and seperate groups, after all, pretending your fighting 1 group is less worrying than the truth of facing many, many groups of extremists. And after all, whos gonna argue? The more credit Al Qaeda get, the better, they love being blamed for it all, builds up their profile.
