Here's me sitting on that limestone block in 1979 at the tender age of 9 awaiting to go into my 1st ever sci-fi, and it changed me forever...

Wow, look at these aeroplanes. We are being propelled into the future of flying as we speak. Hopefully next year when I'm travelling, my family can travel on one of these. Coming to an airport near you.

July 20, 1969 - The 1st Moon Landing

The first manned moon landing on Earth's Moon was the United States' Apollo 11 mission, commanded by Neil Armstrong accompanied by Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin. Armstrong landed the lunar module Eagle on the surface of the Moon at 4:17:42 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, July 20, 1969. They spent a day on the surface of the Moon and then returned to Earth.

I was only 11 months old but still born into the new era of space exploration.

Heard a new single from the Chemical Brothers the other day and thought it was written by a 10 year old with a casio keyboard and a sampling machine, sorry guys, pick up your game if you want my attention. Didn't even wait to find out what the tune was called, just turned it over to another radio station.. JJJ should know better as well for playing sh!te.

Depeche Mode - The 1st band I really got into. Went to see them at the Melbourne Concert hall in 1990 but Dave lost his voice from the concert the night before. NOT HAPPY, travelled all the way but only got 5 days worth of VIC entertainment, mostly drinking and doing runners from cafe (8-0). ANyway knew where they which staying, got one of the best photos with the band and got it signed. Also scored a signed Violator record (now framed), just 1 of 100 signed on the night. Still listen to them, even Dave & Martin's solo careers although, Songs of Faith & Devotion is my favourite. Favourite track was Everything Counts but now In Your Room (Extended Zepher MIX, available on CD BONG 24, here in Australia).
