Games I plan on getting from gamefly

Even though I currently have 1 5 dollar off gamefly ticket I'm a tad bit hesitant on using it just yet. But in any case the games I want to get from gamefly are as follows:

Sonic Colors - Wii =$13.49

Portal 2 - X-box360 = $16.19

Short list I know but nothing heavy I feel I really NEED to get right now. They're cheap enough that I wouldn't mind paying for the whole thing too.

Past games I've played with DLC that I'd like to play again for

Once again due to my trying not to spend too much money for points I'm not going to be able to download DLC as much as I'd like and I wouldn't want to forget what I was interested in. Here is a new list of games with DLC that I would like to play whenever I can.

BioShock 2 - X-box360 = Minerva's Den DLC

Star Wars:Force Unleashed - X-box360 = Jedi Temple DLC

Mass Effect 2 -X-box360 = The Arrival DLC

Impressions on DLC I've caught up on.

BorderLands - Xbox360 = All of the DLC - Oh god they were all a waste. Mainly because due to my being late to the party after months of not playing it, not alot of people play online anymore and the ones you do find mostly are using glitches.

Left 4 Dead 2 - Xbox360 = The passing DLC - Bought this together with two friends, and this was so not worth the price due to how short and boring it was. I was expecting a little more content especially due to the fact that there would be interactions with the original L4D 1 survivors but nope it was just a wam bam thank you m'am kind of deal which was disappointing...

Mass Effect 2 -Xbox360 = Kasumi and Vehicle DLC - I purchased the Kasumi DLC and will save the other DLCs for later perhaps for when the next DLC comes out, but from what I played of the Kasumi DLC. It wasn't too bad, a little short and simple but hey for the type of game Mass Effect 2 is any new Side Mission DLC is expected to be that way.

Dragon age Origins -Xbox360 - Awakening DLC - Is no longer interested in this until Dragon Age 2 draws close to it's release....

Phoenix Wright 3 for the DS has been announced!!

I was checking out Court records.net and I came to discover that the rumored Phoenix Wright:Trials and tribulations that's been on the internet for the past 4 days has been confirmed by Capcom as Phoenix Wright 3, there's a short teaser trailer and it's  been schuduled for release in September of this year. I'm going to have to pre-order the game as soon as I can! Maybe I'll tell Dan about it too.

My Wii came back

Woot! Got my Wii back!! In addition the Internet Channel on the wii have been released today as well!! Even AOTS has their own wii website set up on: G4TV.COM/WII

Pre-mature Okami Impressions

It's pre-mature because it's a borrow from Dan, plus I decided not to complete it until I get my own copy.

So after a trade off with Dan for my copy of Trauma Center for a chance to borrow Okami I decided to finally give the game a try on my own time and not be stuck watching Dan play. And after playing the first few hours of the game by myself I can now determine that Dan wasn't kidding about the game being enjoyable and somewhat addicting.

I dunno if it's the sheer beautiful of the game, the unique fighting system and brush techniques, or if it's just the typical fun factor but I found myself enjoying the game quite alot for an adventure game and I was tempted to keep going after I got past the parts that I saw Dan playing. Hell before I borrowed it I decided to NOT do the side quests because I figured I wouldn't be interested, but to my surprise I found myself enjoying the extra missions and tasks alongside the main adventure, the games just that surprisengly engaging.

However I decided that BECAUSE the game is fun and enjoyable, I would play the whole game as my own copy and not someone elses.

Sonic the Hedgehog and Dead or Alive Extreme 2 for X-box360 impressions

Sonic the hedgehog pretty much reminded me of Sonic adventure for the dreamcast and the feeling resembles it on the 360 as well. It should be no surprise that I enjoy this game. However due to the annoying loading screens and the glitches(Although they didn't really bug me all that much), horrible reviews, makes this a love it or hate it game and all of these combined may cause people to sway and not buy it. I personally am going to buy it once it gets a bit cheaper and I'm especially looking forward to this downloaded content sega claims they're adding to the game.

DOAX2......hmmmm for some odd reason i did find myself enjoying the game actually on single player. However from the little I played of it the online mode isn't very popular and getting the achivements for this game can be a **** However despite that I consider this game something to play when you want to just sit back and relax to a slow paced game. With that being said I might buy this as well once it gets cheaper.

The Wii launch

Well I managed to wake up at around 9:55 today thanks to me going to bed at an earlier time, and due to the fact that I forgot that today was the Wii launch I couldn't go to the mall to ask how it went and maybe give the system a test run. I'm pretty sure it sold out as well just like the playstation 3 but if by some chance theres still one left I can always reserve 20 bucks on it for them to hold it.

According to Dan since Red Steel has apparently done awful and is not as good as it made itself out to be, I'm going to take the safe approach and rent it instead of my original plan to buy it. That would mean the only game I'll be getting for the Wii for the remainder of the year is Trauma center.

Can't wait until Christmas. I just have to pursuade both Sandy and Nanny to work together to get it for me for Christmas.
