I am in need of some money and some new games, however due to my current status of unemployment STILL being in progress, currently the only way I can think of that can make some fast money is selling a few games and hope that I can get some decent money from them.
The Jak and Daxter series for the playstation 2:
Personally I'm quite attached to the Jak series and to be honest I don't want to let them go. However seeing as to how the games are cheap now and a collection box for the whole series might be included soon, I could always get them back at a later time once I get a job.
The .Hack games for the playstation 2:
Again I enjoy this series as well HOWEVER just like I plan to do for the Jak series, I am merely selling the games by themselves and then I'm getting all the games back in a collection package. Though it might be difficult to sell some of them considering how strachted up some of them may be.
Mr.Mosquito for the playstation 2:
Simple.....sell then when you can and if you want, get it again along with the Japanese version and its sequel all at the same time with the same shipping.
Azumi roommate for the playstation 2: (Import)
.....My curousity got the better of me for a game that I read about in a renai yahoo group quite aways back, and as a result I bought a boring ass game that I wish I hadn't bought. After I play it a bit this will definitily be sold on E-bay with no hesitations.
Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 for Gamecube:
Resident Evil alone is worth keeping, which is why I'm merely selling it and MAYBE getting it back at a later time. Resident Evil 0 is a game I really couldn't care less about and would have no problem selling it and never seeing it again. The only way I may possibly get it again is if a collection box is released for it, but due to the fact that the sequel didn't get a gamecube update like Resident Evil 1 that might be unlikely.
Rabu Mahjong for the playstation 2: (Import)
Hmmm I knew that this wouldn't be worth a buy at all however in a country that doesn't have a store that offers Japanese import games for rental purposes, I had no choice but to buy it for a cheap price. Therefore when I can I'll sell it for the same price it was sold to me on e-bay : 15 bucks for the game and 5 bucks for shipping.

God Hand impressions

Typical easy beat em up? No way. This is exactly what I expected to be honest but the critics wasn't kidding when they said the game was difficult for a beat em up. The difficulty of the game is surprisengly challenging your first run and the learning curve will take a bit of getting used to, but even after you've completed the game the challenge is still there.
Overall I enjoyed myself with this game more than I expected, I mean what other beat em up game can I get a rate of 170 overall continues during my first run through a game? And for that I will purchase it as well as the import version when I can.

Bully and Marvel Ultimate Alliance short impressions
by DingoEnderZOE2 on Comments
Bully for the playstation 2 to me was kind of like a lighter version of GTA only without the big weapons high violence, foul language and boring missions. I would have to say unlike GTA although the game was simplier and I actually enjoyed myself with the story and missions in Bully more. Unfortunately the game suffers from it's surprisengly semi-short length, the loading times were annoying, and the ending of the game blew, there was also nothing else in the game for me worth playing any more after beating the game. However I did enjoy the game and I wouldn't mind going back to it when its cheaper, but I would most likely just rent it again on the x-box.
Marvel Ultimate alliance was decent. For a Marvel geek like me while somewhat repetitive, it was pretty fun and I enjoyed interacting with all the different characters, playing the quizes, collecting the bonus discs and concept arts, and going along with the story. Unfortunately due to the amount of time it would take to level up a character to the point to get all of their costumes,to collect all the bonus discs, it kind of dropped motivation points for me to want to play it again, however the different endings is still there for me to consider should I get the game again.
While I liked the game enough to want to include the game in my collection, due to the fact that I used a code after I completed the game I am longer able to get achivements for the game without deleting my save and starting over from the beginning, so instead I would probably one of these days just peek in the instruction manuel at a store, look in the guide book for a bit, then maybe rent it one more time and use the codes to see what the game has to offer and MAYBE try to beat the game again to get the other ending.
Next on my list of gamefly games are:Fear,Splinter Cell DA,godhand.

Sakura Taisen 4:Koiseyo Otome for Sega Dreamcast CLEAR
by DingoEnderZOE2 on Comments
I managed to get all of the Yaku tiles for the Mahjong Mini game thus giving me all of the regular game scenes which in turn combined with the rest of the achivements I've accomplished gave me 100% completion for the entire game.
Thanks to the good old wash and wipe of the game CD(which fixed the glitch problem I had before), I also had a chance to test out the attacks of the last character I needed to beat the game with.
With this I can now put the game back in it's case to rest. However I'm sure I'll come back to it every once and while to both translate and type, and to play.

Sakura Taisen 4 for Sega Dreamcast completed

After months and months of putting it off I have finally completed the game with all girls. However I'm not exactly finished with the game just yet, due to a glitch or a bug of some sort I couldn't fully enjoy the final battles of the game during my run with the last character I needed to complete the game with because the game glitched and skipped to the final battle. I didn't even get a chance to see what the new attack was like. So I'm gonna have to get to that.
I also need to complete the Mahjong mini game by collecting all the tiles of the game. A feat that won't take me too long.

by DingoEnderZOE2 on Comments
After constant games where I get stuck with quiet partners and opponents and frustration over the fact that theres no quick way to get back to Rank level 1 to start over, I decided to not play Halo 2 for a while, at least not until a quick way to reset the stats are avaliable.

10/17
Splinter Cell Double agent for X-box 360
10/24
.Hack//G.U. Volume 1//Rebirth for Playstation2

by DingoEnderZOE2 on Comments
Imports to complete:
Playstation 2:
Sakura Taisen 3: Is Paris Burning?
Goals: Need to complete the story mode with all of the girls. Completing the extra mode is a bonus. Not a high priority mainly because I already completed this goal on the Dreamcast version
Sakura Taisen 5: Saraba Itoshiki Hito Yo
Goals: Need to complete Story mode with 3 of the remaining girls.
PSX:
Thousand Arms
Goal : Simply complete the game while getting as many Japanese phases and material to study as you can.
Rockman Dash 2
Goal: Complete the game. Small amount of Side quests included.
Tokimeki Memorial 2
Goal: Hmmm. Try to complete the game with all characters if your sanity at the time can withstand the constant switching of game discs again and again and again....
Dreamcast:
Shenmue
Goal: Once you get a dreamcast thats capable of playing Imports simply complete the game with all reasonable side quests included.
Sakura Taisen 4: Koiseyo Otome
Goal: Complete the game with two more of the characters. After that If I desire I can work on completing the the extra mode.
U.S. Games to complete:
Playstation 2:
Final Fantasy X-2
Goal: Complete the game with all endings. Work your butt off to get 100% completion.

Skies of Arcadia Legends

Onimusha 2
Goal: Should I ever decide to try again, simply try to get the remaining story slots filled out.

Yakuza for Playstation 2 Impressions
by DingoEnderZOE2 on Comments
I don't know why this game got so much hate from Magazines but I found the game to be quite entertaining. The fighting system took some getting used to at first but after some practice it became simple and fun. Though I do admit that I wish there was more in it and it was a bit more polished.
The little side quests were also interesting as well, they were nice ways to gain experience and have more to do. The hostess bar side quests were pretty interesting. The most pointless side quest(?) was the massage parlor which I thought was stupid.
Most of all I thought the story for the game was very powerful and it kept me playing the game from beginning to end. It was so interesting that I pulled an all nighter on the game until I beat it which only took me a day of course. Making this one of the games that kept me interested to the point that I would pull an all nighter to beat it.
Overall I say the game was pretty fun and I'd buy it once the price is cheaper and I would also DEFINITLY buy the import version as well, there is just TOO many things in the game that would make excellent Japanese study material.

Dead RIsing for X-box360 finally completed.
by DingoEnderZOE2 on Comments
After pulling a gruesome all nighter I have finally managed to get my last two achievements for the game. Unfortunately due to the game not allowing me to save after I let my self lose due to a issue with the buttons during the save menu and even the playback menu where I couldn't shut off the damn music that was playing over and over, I wasn't able to save the prizes that come with the achievements afterwards.
It's all good though I at least got to try out the laser sword for the final achievement and I really only wanted the achivements anyway and whenever I feel the need to, I can always try to go for the 5 day achivement again just to get the sword. So now with this I can grant Dead Rising for the x-box 360 a Mission accomplished salute.
