I used to love Ace Combat. First game was Ace Combat 4, my personal favorite. It was the only airplane game I loved. Ace Combat 5, 6, and 0 weren't too bad. The Ace Combat games for the PSP were also enjoyable. But I hated Horizon, it just wasn't the same. I'd rather have that fictional world again.
I don't think it will ever end unless the console are exactly the same. Even if they are the same hardware wise, but have a different look people will still say one looks better than the other. It's a kind of competition, you picked something you liked the best and you try to prove why its better than the other. For the PS3 and the Xbox 360, both consoles have their ups and downs; but just because they have con doesn't make it inferior. For example, PS3 doesn't have party chat like Xbox. That doesn't make it worse of a console, however its a very nice feature to have on xbox 360. Now there are some qualities (in my mind) that would make a console worse off such as DRM restrictions. If one console has DRM and the other not, thats a big enough issue to determine what is better. Each consumer should way in the positives and negatives and buy what they think is best for them; but they shouldn't get so attached to these things.
@bunchanumbers I remember hearing a few games say they might have it but nothing has ever came through. I think it would be neat to play against someone on ps3
