@hellrazorangel @Dissentioncc Well genius, if the devs get the full amount and the price was $10 instead of $5, guess what? You'd be supporting that dev even more. This concept really isn't that difficult to understand, but it seems like most of you were dropped on your heads as children.

The amount that we could get put in our wallets to clear the game out of our games list wouldn't be enough to deter Steam from having the huge sales they currently have. That $10 game? Yeah, I'm thinking the amount received back from resell (not to other people fyi) would be around $2-$3 or so. Not something to break the bank.

I mean if the normal PC game sales were so great, why do they even drop them so much in the first place? Oh right, because they aren't that great and it's an incentive to get people to buy their products....as would being able to "resell" them would even more so.

@hellrazorangel @Dissentioncc I said they might take a hit, not that they would disappear. And is that bad? Sorry I'm not a collector of games. I'd rather pay $10 on a sale with the option to resell, than $5 and I'm stuck with it.

@hellrazorangel @Dissentioncc Yeah, take it personally a little bit more. Go grab some antiacids and calm down a bit. You quoted my thought which actually helps my argument. The sales could still exist, don't go crying yourself to sleep over it.

@hellrazorangel You aren't everyone. Options are good. You wouldn't have to sell them back if you didn't want to. etc. etc.

@GaMEQB11 @Dissentioncc @allever Yes, the sale prices might not be as crazy as they are now, but it wouldn't kill them completely. I'd rather know I could get rid of a game once I'm done.

@DeanoFantasy I own GTA IV for PC and have never used a mod once. These things called options and freedom of choice? Yeah, they are good things. You don't like the mods created? Then don't fucking play them, ffs. Or continue to be a little girl about the whole thing idk.

@allever I wouldn't even care about trading them to other players. Just give me the option to sell back my games for a lower amount (i.e. I paid $10, give me $3 or something) and remove the game from my list. I don't own the game anymore and would have to repurchase if I ever wanted it, I get an old game that I never play removed from my list, and I get a little bit of money back in my steam wallet towards....you guessed it more steam purchases. It could work, people are just afraid it would kill the great steam sales.

@MaTTerCuBe @zzamaro Actually, part of owning any other product is the right to resell it. Did you just buy a book? Cool, once you are done, you can put it up on ebay or something. Pawn shops and garage sales have existed for years because of the fact that you can and should be able to resell what you buy.

@GaMEQB11 As I said before, Steam keeps track of what you purchase and how much you purchase it for if it's through the program itself. You buy a bunch of games for cheap, don't expect to sell for any more than what you paid for. The only issue would be the steam codes you can get from amazon or other sites. They have sales too sometimes and that could be a problem.
