@Slade968 @Dissentioncc @canelacandy I do the same thing. My problem is that my games list is full of games I know I won't play anymore. I'd rather just get rid of them for a couple bucks towards another purchase.
@canelacandy @Dissentioncc Also it's not like I'd expect cash payouts. It would just go into the steam wallet. If we got back some credit to help toward other purchases while getting rid of games that take up space in our lists, I can't see that as a bad thing and never will.
@canelacandy @Dissentioncc Not if the amount of money you get back isn't enough to hurt sales. Let's take a couple games I have for instance and will never play again, Dead Space 1 and 2. I paid $5 for each of them. I'd only expect to get back like $1 or so if I wanted to unload them just to get them off my list. If someone paid $60, they should easily expect around $15-$20 back. It wouldn't hurt sales that much.
@canelacandy @AshTrai @viciouswar Yes, they could. Because like I said with my apparently "ridiculous" idea, steam keeps track of what we pay for games anyway. They could just give a percentage of what we pay for it back to us to remove it from our list. It could even be like gamestops ripoff style trade in prices, but at least it would be something.
@canelacandy @Dissentioncc Nice argument there. It's just ridiculous? Why? Because that's what's been spoon fed to you all this time? I'd like to own anything I purchase, digital or not.
@cnx2022 @sammoth @Bahamut50 @LoganDaDestroya @TriggerManX97 @morredor Exactly. Because it is the way it is now, that means we should just accept it and bite the pillow like good boys? Sorry, I think getting some money back for the useless games in my games list will be a great thing (if it's ever implemented).
@MarcioHuser @somatzu Nah, I'd rather trade in the games I've beaten and don't plan on playing anymore. All they'd have to do is give us a percentage of what we paid for the game and essentially "delete" the game from our list. It's not that difficult of an idea imo.
@XspidervenomX I bought the game for around $20 a while back. I haven't purchased any DLC and don't plan to. Cool story, I know. The point is that you don't have to buy it.
