I just graduated this year but my high school was alright. A lot of gangsters and skaters and drug use and pregnant people.....but it was good enough. I'm not sure about the dropout rate but I know it's a bit of a problem there. It's not a bad school and it was pretty big with about 2000 people I think. It looked like a castle which was the coolest part.

Jeez that must have sucked to have your room changed. I already moved into my dorm though. Unless you mean the classroom? But yeah I'm still gonna show up at least an hour early just in case.........

[QUOTE="Distractdead1"]

Tomorrow I'm going to my first class as a freshman in college......it should be exciting. I'm nervous with the anticipation. And nervous about getting lost on the campus but I have a map so I think I can survive.

Theokhoth

Don't worry; after the first day or two you'll never need a map again. :P

haha yeah hope so. The idea of wandering around in utter terror and confusion doesn't appeal to me. But it shouldn't be too bad. At least I know what side of the campus I'll be on :D

this should be posted in the pc hardware forum. you'll get a much better answer.

the best pc for the best price will be one you build yourself. it's not as hard as you might think. I have a fairly general understanding of PC hardware, and I built mine fairly easily using the step by step guide in the hardware forum

Sword-Demon

Yeah i think you're right about that. Oh well, i already posted so its all good. I think i'll look at the guide. Thanks :D

Yeah i heard asus are pretty good pcs and i've checked those out before. I'll definitely check out your suggestion. As for building a pc, i don't think i'm intelligent enough. It's so tempting though. Thanks by the way! :D

I think the rich people are trying to impress the other rich people with their cleanliness. What I've noticed from talking to a friend is that in rich neighborhoods, it's all about who's lawn looks nicest, who's lawnmower lines are parallel, etc, etc. Me,I don't care about impressing the other people in the neighborhood. Maybe its something like that.

Hey I'm a freshman going to college this fall. I was wondering, since I have absolutely no idea about these things, what kind ofpc would be good to use for general college stuff (probably multitasking and such) and can still handle most games. I'm really not sure *shrugs* I guess I'm looking for a good all-around pc that won't make me poor. I'd be really glad if anyone had any suggestions or a set of guidelines about what to look for in a pc.
