So I am playing my GBA right now playing Final Fantasy V, which I just brought today along with BOFIV (think I got that right) and Final Fantasy 6, while using my laptop to post this in my car, don't ask, and I was wondering why Final Fantasy V is never talked about. I am not a Jrpgs guy, at least not yet, but I always here Jrpgs discussion and nobody talks about FFV, but it has held my attention more than any other Final Fantasy, with good music as well. Nice custom Battle System that will probably get bigger as I keep going, and turns out you can switch classes on the fly without anything resetting. I ask this because I was hoping to get more information on this game while I am playing it now. I'll check back later when I have a more stable place for my laptop to reply lol.

@Dj-Dampleaf sorry I deleted the quotes couldn't type for some reason.

Well the stories in Sonic can be picked up in any game. Its basically always the same. The Ark level in SA2 just needed practice. I used to die alot but now can go through it with ease.

But ya Shadow was a fun little side game. I have it on Gamecube.

well in the 3D Sonic games, the stories are usually out there, and at points without prior knowledge, they make no sense. (ending of Sonic heroes is a great example.) also I know you can get used to SA ark, but it's still badly designed and you can't always avoid some of the glitches and bugs that stage has, and of course, some places I have to wonder if they were snorting some puffy. Also, there's one more area of the ark that bring it to a low grade I forgot to mention and it goes something like this: "Don't let it hit ya Move, move, don't let it hit ya grove" you know where that song is from. My ears have never healed since then.

[QUOTE="Dj-Dampleaf"]To me the only good 3D Sonic game is the one where you can't play as Sonic. So now because I said that I expect people trying to track me down and kill me for saying that so allow me to hide at Emerald_Warriors House, he has a gun in his avatar.wildcat2000

Shadow the Hedgehog? I thought it was quite decent actually. Nothing special but decent. I remember everyone complaining about aiming. Never had any problems with. I just shot the enemies direction it worked.

Still to say this game is the only good 3D "Sonic" is well...wrong, lol. Not trying to flame you.

I see the way you said wrong, Shoot him Emerald_warrior quick! He's after me! But seriously, best game in the series for me, 3D wise. A person could follow the plot without playing other sonic games. The Missions are varied and challenging. nice stage music. Many different endings, although Shadow android makes no sense to me. Great art design. Nice CG Hidden content. Fun Weapons. Space Colony Ark is much more tolerable compared to that AWFUL stage design for both Shadow and Sonic in SA2 making the ark nearly unplayable. Fun Boss fights. Gun or not. You get to beat up Sonic, that fake hedgehog. And more after these commercials.

I'll have to go with EA and Gameloft (Dead Space is just freaking insane, while Gameloft has just about any franchise knock-off you can think of that actually plays great on an iPhone). DethSkematik
They make some nic rip-offs though. Although Asphalt gets worse and worse, time to drop that game please.

[QUOTE="nunovlopes"]As someone who owns both an IPad 3 and Asus TF300, I can honestly say that iOS doesn't hold a candle to Android. First, it's a myth that Android is not stable. Maybe before ICS, but definitely not now. The Asus is very stable, had to reset it just once. Already had to reset the IPad one time in a smaller timeframe. Both are solid performers. The Asus is a mid-level tablet so lacks in a couple of departments most notably the screen which has a much lower resolution than the iPad 3, although 1280x800 is quite reasonable. Some say the TF300 lacks brightness, couldn't disagree more, I can't even have it at max brightness indoors, it's just too bright. Outside the iPad will be obviously better though. Both have a very fast response time to user touch, the iPad maybe is slightly faster but not really noticeable. iOS is a joke. Android is so much more customizable. The widgets, the freedom to place icons wherever I want to them, beautiful animated wallpapers. The keyboard is also better designed on Android. The way you access the list of running apps and close them is also more intuitive. Oh and a big one, iOS doesn't allow you to change the default browser! How dumb is that? Also the iPad has a 4:3 aspect ratio which is just stupid. Asus direct competitor to the iPad is the TF700 which I don't know, but I can honestly say the TF300 is a great device and definitely recommend it.

It's no Myth. The problem with both sides is both IOS and Android are terrible. The only OS that even comes CLOSE to being compentent or Media playes, Phones, and Tablets is Blackberry, and even then still not there. At least Blackberry and WP are evolving, Android and IOS add more issues after each update than benefits.

[QUOTE="Dj-Dampleaf"][QUOTE="GreySeal9"]

Does it have the same charming cartoony characters and funny dialogue?

Cause if it does, improved combat would make me snap it up in an instant once I get another PS2.

GreySeal9

From what I played so far, the game has a very dark and serious tone, and tries to be more realistic mixed with mythical. so i would not expect anything funny or charming in this game. But hey, maybe Breath series has a habit of having random comic relief, I never played the others. Really liking the game so far, still waiting for it to kick in, might take some time. hopefully it won;t take 5 hours or more like most Jrpgs.

That's strange because BoF II is very colorful, cartoony and doesn't take itself very seriously. I'll still get it tho.

yeah, there's nothing no. This is a atmospheric game.

Well, I'm playing Breath of Fire II for the SNES and it's a really charming experience. Not sure what Breath of Fire IV is like, but I've heard relatively good things about it. I say go for it.

GreySeal9

It's a great game, but it isnt set up like 1 or 2. The world map is a lot llike Dragon Age Origins (or vice versa in this situation) the combat system is better, and the story is better because you get to play as the bad guy through parts of the story too. It's longer than the previous games too. The only real problem I could say about it is the camera cannot be controlled with the analog sticks. But you can select to use the analog for moving the characters around on the ps3.
