@valuum It's barely a study. Like really. How many people does it take before something becomes scientific? Not only 30 that's for damn sure. I don't agree with all ratings though. Sometimes games have T ratings and are worst than M rated games. If a parent really doesn't have time to check the game, then I would suggest possibly using the rating system until your kid hits 16-17 then he'll already be playing those games anyways.
Personally, I have always been indifferent about game violence. As a kid I enjoyed MK on my Genesis just as much as I enjoyed Sonic and Mario and I got just as excited and jumpy playing either game. I see games are getting worst these days which is changing my mind a bit. I don't think it's necessarily bad for a kid if he has good parents to play violent video games, but maybe playing games like Manhunt is not the most creative thing to do.
At least for once they didn't blame the pirates but their own damn selves. This is what happens when you release garbage. I'm a huge fan of those HD collections considering just how much the graphics are usually improved but I didn't even look twice at Zone of the enders HD after seeing how bad of a port it was.
@SirNormanislost I was talking about the restrictions on a console before it gets modded. You can't really do any homebrew stuff or install linux on the PS3 anymore.
@GSGuy321 Exactly. I have a bunch of games for my PS3. I do not need to mod it to play pirated copies. I simply want to use my PS3 for its full potential and still be able to go online. All systems since the beginning of moding are restricted somehow or some way.
