Just picked up..

HEAVENLY SWORD - PS3

RESERVOIR DOGS - PS2

They're relatively dated releases at this point, but I'm just now getting to them. Plowing through Heavenly Sword, at the moment-and digging every minute of it.

Reservoir Dogs I'm eager to get into as I'm a big fan of the film.

My sudden indifference towards ENDWAR-

It happened about two weeks ago.

Had been looking at screenshots for months, finally saw some gameplay footage..and my jaw dropped as an icey slab of uncaring slid over my gamer heart.

It looks cool, catchy, maybe even fun, but nowhere near how I expected it to be, and my expectations were quite high. Therein lies the problem. The fault is not on dear old Tom Clancy, the fault lies with me.

However, I will not be purchasing this game. I do look forward to playing it on someones else's console, time and dime.

How does everyone else feel?

Farcry 2 - Interview Article

The map editor in the Farcry games has always been my favorite aspect.

And this latest installment into the games history has me drooling in anticipation. Next to MGS4, and Soulcalibur 4-I've been waiting and waiting for Farcry 2.

For me this article sheds light on topics that I had had on my mind concerning the map editor, and it also brings new ideas to the front.

The link is below.

Enjoy!

PUNISHER union updates

Basically, just posted a couple bulletins of info.

Any questions, comments or concerns can be directed to me. The union will grow in due time. Oh, how it will grow.

N+ rating

Yes, I only played two or three levels of this game, but I get it. I got it-the gist, the vibe, the goal, the lure that it sets for us addicted gaming folk.

:P

Mercenaries 2

So after stating that I've never really been captivated by this series, I actually went out and picked up the new release. I thought "Hey, it's the new generation of systems. That original X-BOX release of Mercenaries that I played wasn't all that bad. I'll give it a shot. Looks as if they might've stepped their game up!"

Aaaaand I'm still not impressed. I am, in fact, less impressed than I was with the initial game.

Updated graphics with strict, stiff gameplay does not equal success. Being capable of blowing up a useless wooden shack does not equal success. Cliche dialogue and character development does not equal success.

Not to rag on it entirely-there are high points in the gameplay, most notably the most basic aspect of all-shooting a crapload of enemies in a running rampant spree.

But overall, I can't get this game out of the system, out of my home and into the hands of someone somewhere else fast enough.

So bland!!
