I could do without buying a new console for a few years yet, I just hope they carry gamerscore over to the next one

Vari3ty

It won't. Why would they?

I'd bet everything I own that gamerscores WILL carry over.

I will second this. Achievements have been too good of a marketing strategy to drop entirely, and there'd be no point in implementing a completely new points system next generation.

I'm 90% sure 8 feet is the required minimum distance.

I personally found Borderlands to be a completely miserable game to play through alone. I only boot it up if someone is willing to play along.

I enjoyed the first game, but I also could write a long laundry list of issues the series has.

I think today it's less acceptable for designers to resort to cheap tactics to increase a game's difficulty. That and it's usually more profitable to market a game to a general audience as opposed to an elitist few.

It doesn't really bother me. Pretty much all games include a variety of difficulty settings anyway.

god I find those really awful and gaudy, I'd want something more sublte or at least slimmer, definitly not anything silly poking out of it, maybe something like

rockstar

BlackDevil99

That case is all sorts of delicious. Putting a ridiculous amount of cheap plastic crap on pegholes just looks juvenile.

I'll avoid consuming alcohol just because so many games make it difficult to play when your character is drunk. Otherwise I'll eat, drink, or smoke anything that provides benefits to my character.

Zynga is bleeding money like crazy, so not too much longer. I think social games of now will just eventually be incorporated into traditional game titles.

You should write a guide for a game that you'll be sufficiently interested in for the duration that you are writing the guide. We can't tell you what games you like.

23Jarek23

Bad idea, because if he wants to get into the field then he'll be forced to write reviews based on items/games he might have absolutely no interest in, not to mention he should review from a non biased point of view.

He said guide, not review, and it's a personal project.

Write about something you really enjoy, TC, or else you'll never finish it.

Additionally, if you have more than one Xbox you use your profile on, you can transfer the game license to more than Xbox. Microsoft puts a limit on how many consoles you spread the licenses to in a year, but I've yet to have a problem.
