Yeah you're right. I was naive to think you actually had a good point.
@MikeLirette @allever Not that they CAN'T take money, but that they WON'T. Essentially saves them headache if anyone is stupid enough to sue (since defending still costs money even if it's an open-and-shut case) if Rockstar had kept transactions open..
Great review here Carolyn! I really like how you went into exactly what makes the game so fun, which is something I've noticed a lot of FPS reviews seem to lack and normally just go "lots of weapons" or "clever AI!". In fact, your review is the reason I actually picked up the game since you made it sound like it's right up my alley despite not being a FPS gamer normally.
Now I'm playing it and your review was spot-on to the point where I am having a blast specifically because of the stuff you mentioned (wee killsat!). The only critique I have with the review is that you did kind of spoil the woman's role in the story, since she doesn't come across like that at all when you first meet her in the game >_>
Does anyone know what the profit margin for an NCAA game is? I always thought that, after everything is said and done, the actual profits from it are $100 million at best. While that is a lot, you're still giving nearly half of it away as royalties. Who would want to create a game with the knowledge that half your profits (earned honestly or by screwing over others) would go to other people? From a business standpoint, it makes sense that EA is cancelling the future college football games

@Scarab83 @EPaul So comments where the poster's not insulting or whining is justification and just is stating that he wants/was on feedbackula is justification now? Despite the fact that most of the blatantly obvious "put me on feedbackula" posts are never actually shown?
@nocoolnamejim But it only glorifies the dickiest comically stupid posts. NOT the dickiest death-threat/personal-insult-throwing posts. Hell, the intention of "glorifying" those posts is to laugh at them, which in a way is saying "yeah, if you want to be taken seriously, don't do this". The fact that Feedbackula always ignores the truly insulting posts speaks volumes for it and shows that it has a hard line between comments to mock and laugh at, and comments that just go too far.
