@munkeymomo @Draconarius Could very well be... but the problem is that being the best cricket game ever would not be saying much. In ten years I've yet to find one that's better than adequate.
I'm not optimistic, but I've been waiting so long for a good cricket game... surely they can't put the Don's name on it and then screw it up. They'll probably find a way, though.
Oh well, guess all that can be done is wait and see. Here's hoping.
@lifemeister Except that $60 + PS4 = $40 cheaper than an X1. And those that don't want to have a gimmicky camera controller (ie. competitive gamers) can choose not to spend that $60.
[sarcasm] Yeah, having the Kinect 2 forced down our throats, and no doubt forced onto what would otherwise be good games (like what befell Steel Batallion) is *such* a great thing. [/sarcasm]
@Mech-Gouki Halo 4 has staying power my arse. Its sales were driven solely by reputation, a reputation that was quickly squandered. The online population hasn't gone above 40,000 in months. 7 million people bought the game, and 0.5% percent of them are still playing it. H5 will be lucky to get 1/4 the sales numbers 4 did.
Well, saw that coming. I was thinking the other day that, even if they did allow cross-platform play, it might have ended up like the Xbox/PC cross-multiplayer Microsoft experimented with a few years back. One platform, probably the WiiU, would have given the gamers using it the advantage over the gamers using the other one.
@commanderxp90 Might want to spend less time MS-fanboying and more time actually reading the comments you are responding to, friend. When did I say I had complete knowledge? I said it "looks like" Sony has fixed my biggest complaint about them, that it "looks to be" closer in size to the Xbox one, which would fit my hands better. Since I'm just going off pictures, I can't say for sure, but I think it's fairly safe to say the design looks much improved compared to the PS3. If those predictions are wrong, I'll happily admit that X1 has the superior controller... for whatever the hell that's worth when everything else is far inferior to what the PS4 is offering us.
@Samucabrazil I disagree. The X1 controller looks a little bit better, I'll grant, but functionally they'll be about identical. Especially since it looks like Sony has fixed the most common gripe I hear about their controller: the size of the grips. I always felt like I had a very poor grip on the PS2 and 3 controllers because they were so small. The PS4 version looks to be closer in size to the Xbox controller, which is going to be awesome.
