@Raistlarn: Yep, I know I would watch more of these movies if I could watch them at home. We live in the era of 8k TVs and insane sound bars; why the hell would we want to go sit in a theater and deal with the crowds? Hell, even before covid, I didn't really like going to the theater all that much.
The campaign versus PVP is the only reason I put so many hours into Left 4 Dead. This Swarm PVP garbage has actually stopped me from buying this game; I did get the game pass for a buck just to check it out, and I'm glad I did, because my mind didn't change with the full release. The regular co-op should be fun for about 5 hours, but I'll likely never return after that unless they decide to put in campaign versus.
This formula worked wonderfully for Left 4 Dead but that's only because there was special infected that regularly attacked you throughout the levels, and really, the PVP was the best part of L4D.
This looks rather atrocious as a superhero game; mindless and repetitive.
It's a pretty good game, but isn't it a Bullshark which can actually survive in both fresh and salt water? That's not a mutation, that's just real life.
@owl1: Is he talking about when they are firing at the door where Mousesack is holding up a magic shield? Makes sense that they are just trying to break the shield down... Not sure what Barighm is talking about if not that.
@Barighm: Haha, that's great. It also gave me a very Xena/Hercules vibe, but I wondered if anyone nowadays would have the slightest idea what I was talking about if I made the reference. You're exactly right, a Hercules for the modern age. Thing is, for what that show was meant to be, I'd say it was in the 7-8 range.
I definitely got a Xena and Hercules vibe out of the dragon episode. I felt that it was a little corny when comparing it to the rest of the episodes.
@JVS44: That's also a good interpretation. They feed the lifeforce of the building because they couldn't make the cut. I think that's more of a literal interpretation, but it's definitely something that could have multiple meanings. It doesn't matter that it needs something so simple like the author is complaining about; for some things, you need imagination, and the author of this just doesn't have any, I guess.
