@A_Rabid_Dog @gilldominic If this is the future, than I wil stop gaming. Why pay money for extra internet and for games that you dont own because they run on servers? Eventully the cloud games will die out, and they kill retro gaming. Its sad.
@jd7904 @Dreamcast86 They said that you dont need internet to play offline games. By making offline games into online games by using the "cloud" the game is no longer offline.
@bigcr47 @Dreamcast86 Because its stupid. Having the internet doesnt mean that every soul out there want a connected experience with everything. If I buy a copy of Sim City, I should be able to enjoy it without to much bullshit, but NO.
@Kakashi_101 @Dreamcast86 @adjsaint You know that cloud games will require a always online connection, like Sim City? They removed the DRM, so what? They give the publishers every tools they need to block games, and make them always online.
Microsoft is truly the worst thing that could happen to gaming. Even way worse than EA. If every singleplayer game now requires always online in order to run its their fault. If console games get blocked, its probably their fault, because the blocking is limited to the online part, but Microsoft provides servers to do so. These guys are a bunch of greedy assholes, and they want to control EVERYTHING we do.
Cloud = We removed the 24 hour check in, but our games will require always online. And by the way, you will have no ownership over these games, and its more easy for publishers to block these games, because the blocking was limited to the online part, so now we have the ability to make every singleplayer game online.
