[QUOTE="kris9031998"][QUOTE="Drumlegend"][QUOTE="kris9031998"] So i reinstalled it and tried it normally and it works...but it takes about 5 minutes and two ctrl+alt+deletes to do.....eh, at least it works

Is the game a legit copy? When I had a hard copy of the game it used to get stuck on load and the cd tray wouldn't open. If you have problems then try and get the latest patch, if you still struggle you should get a fixed exe

I got it via Direct 2 Drive because it was on sale. I really dont know what happened because now it keeps crashing because of some display problem. Ill copy what is written in the error message...

If you post the error I will look into it for you

Here are some of my favorites. I have to mention that I have played all the German ones in German (indicated with Ge), so I don't know if they were properly translated.

Full Throttle

Gemini Rue

Lost Horizon (Ge)

Machinarium

Secret Files 1 and 2 (Ge)

The Book of Unwritten Tales (Ge)

The Last Express

G-Lord
Machinarium is great and I am enjoying the Last Express but havn't completed it yet

[QUOTE="iamrob7"]

I run SWAT 4 in Windows 7 64 bit without any problems, no compatibility mode needed. So your problem sounds strange to me, try re-installing the game and simply running it normally.

I think there is some software called Pinnacle Gamer Profile you can get. I used to use it and it was great. However, you will have to input the buttons in manually

Its enjoyable and you sure do rack up hours gaming on it. However it is very repetitive but at such a cheap price, its a steal. I have heard about some of the future updates and it seems they may be adding game content so keep a look out for that :)

I posted a question on here a few days ago asking for any funny point and click games. Well I have now decided to make that question easier to ask. I was hoping to find some enjoyable adventure games, but they should still be point and click. Here are the games I have played: Grim Fandango Monkey Island 1-4 Simon The Sorcerer 1-3 Broken Sword 1-3 Day of The Tentacle Sam and Max Hit The Road Some of Beneath The Steel Sky Indiana Jones 1-3 I think Out of all these games I found Grim Fandango and the Broken Sword Series my favorite!

Drat :P. I'll have a dig around a bit later and see what I can dredge up. For the moment, if you can forego the humour, I'd definitely recommend Syiberia and its sequel. They're both classics, story-wise, with some really well thought out puzzles to boot.

[QUOTE="Drumlegend"]I would prefer more of an adult sarcastic humor like Simon the Sorcerer. I know that's a bit specific. Maybe I am clutching at straws herePlaneforger

I'd suggest the older Leisure Suit Larry games (certainly not any of the recent ones), but I'm guessing that's a very different kind of adult humour than what you're after.

Anyway, check out all three Sam and Max episodic seasons. They're all hilarious, they've frequently got clever sarcastic humour to them, and if you buy all three seasons together...it'd be something like 50 hours of gameplay for a relatively cheap price.

Also, Zork Grand Inquisitor just hit gog.com this week. It's not exactly 'dark' humour, but I'd be tempted to call it one of the funnier adventure games I've ever played.

I will give them a go thank you XD
