I was thinking of buying PSP because I played my cousins and it was really awsome. All my freinds reckon the PSP is dying and they want me to waste my money on an iPod like them...

Anyways, is a PSP worth getting? I like online play a lot so does it have that and is it easy to access? Also, does it have any cool features like the ability to play movies/music? Are their good games for it?

What is it!?

I just got my PS2 working online and this game looks really, really good. I am not quite sure what it is though... So I need a couple of questions answered before I go out and spend money on it.

Just to clarify something...it's not turn based...is it?

Also, how much is monthly free and game. Do I need any other accesories with it?

Are there many people playing it? I bought Champions of Norrath today, went into online to see no games going and when I decided to host one, no one joined. I don't want another situation like this.

Please reply, I am very interested in the FF series and I am wanting to add this one to my collection.

FFXII is the only FF I have but it is a GREAT game. There's tons of things to do, not like them crappy games that you can clock in an hour. The storyline is interesting and settings/graphics are unbelievable for PS2. Definately get it! Also, its got the active/wait system so you don't have to do stupid turn-based stuff and you can play real-time action.

I'll explain the situation.

I have bought a category 6 ethernet cable so I can play my PS2 Slimline Online.

I am using the PS2 game Champions of Norrath to set up my network since I do not have the normal setup disc that Sony supposedely supplies. Here is the problem:

I select the ethernet cable under the hardware option, then select auto for the IP address and the DNS settings. I test the connection and all is well. I save the settings to my memory card and continue in to the online game.

I connect to the network, then go on to the DNAS authentication were after a while it pops up...

(-612) DNAS ERROR
Could not find DNS server please check network configuration.

I don't know what to do now, I'm guessing I need to fix this DNS server thing but I don't know were to start.

By the way, I connect my PS2 directly to my ADSL modem I don't use a router or anything like that.

This is the strategy I have used to clock the game many times and not have a difficult time on bosses and so fourth.

Im not sure how many characters you have at the moment, but start putting licences like so...

Vaan/Basch- Light armour, heavy weapons

Balthier/Fran - Heavy armour, swords/spears

Penelo/Ashe - Magic armour, staffs

Set up Cure and Raise gambits very early on Penolo/Ashe so it is very hard for party members to die and if they do, they will be resurected quickly.

Use Vaan/Basch as 'tanks' and wack on light armour so their health skyrockets. Use a sheild and a heavy weapon so you can take less damage and do the occasional high hit.

Balthier/Fran will be doing the damage, give them swords/spears and try use expose on anything that is hard to kill.

If you do this, it will take very long for the Mimic Queen to kill Vaan/Basch because of their high health, and even when they fall a tiny bit they will be cured.

Fran/Balthier will be there to make sure the MimicQueen is ALWAYS losing health and if you want you can set up a charactermp
