Again COH, but I also like MWII and soon Total war Empires is coming out. MWII is more about classic tactics, and not about build speeds.

Used to play Guild wars all the time. Tried AoC for a while, then went back to GW because of the PvP, some of the best IMO. More in to the PvP than the questing to collect some object. I also like the level playing ground in the PvP, everyone is equal, and it's more down to skill and timing.

What resolution are you running at?

Cause you'd be hard pressed on 1920x1200...

How much do you spend on PS3 games each year? Most of the single player games I never want to complete again.

I agree with the above, keep hold of it untill the 300 series. You could always buy a another 8800 GTX until then? The price they are going at now you might as well. I run two 8800 GTX in SLI. I was thinking about going to GTX 280 / 280 SLI, improvements are not really enough to justify the price. Even with the 8800 GTX sli, I can play most games in 1920x1200 easily, the only thing it has a tough time with is crysis, but that is still runs in high, just not very high.

The extra GTX would give you around the same performance as 1 GTX 280.

i regularly read a mag called custom PC...a very hardware focused mag. osan0

LOL I'm appearing in the readers dives section next month!

Edit: Here is the link to my rig on Custom PC:

Sorry to hear the bad news.

The bios screen would not load at all if the card was completely screwed.

Is the overclock on the card loaded automatically when you load windows?

If it is this may be the problem, I would try to disable it. Sorry I don't know how to do this

If this is not possbile, perhaphs reinstall windows before you splash out on a new GPU
