I've been playing Torchlight on my laptop and would like to play on a new laptop. Is there anyway to transfer over my character? I have looked for some files but, really couldn't find anything. The only stuff in the Torchlight folder are files that end in ".dll" or "icons" "music" "programs"...
Also, if I've been using a mod component like Torchleech, can I just install it on the new laptop and select the same mods... assuming I can move the character over.
Torchlight it is... found out you can mod the camera (field of view) back a little so you can see more of the dungeon just like the diablo II mod. I know it sounds dumb but, that little bit changes games for me.

There are many mods for the game to also improve the visuals, and add a very balanced rooster of characters for you to choose from (each with their own unique skills).
I've played Torchlight with a mod adding 22 different characters and 30 unique pets.
Yeah, that's what kind of led me to Torchlight... not that there are not mods for Diablo II. It's just that I've played them six years ago. I do have a question though; if I download the game to my laptop (2005 Vaio) and it plays okay... can I then download it to my girlfriend's laptop (2010 Toshiba) because it's just a little smoother?

I've played Diablo II back in college (early 2000's). Demo played Torchlight and liked it. The only thing I just found out is that I can mod the resolution for Diablo II so it will actually look normal by today's standards. Just holding myself over until PSN is back.
the new amd chip you're talking about is probably llano. It combines a really good integrated graphics card and can crossfire it with a discrete card for more performance. The only thing is the cpu won't be as powerful as the intel ones.
