What the... how come I've never heard of this? I was planning on coming in here and talking about Logitech and others being one of those third party controller makers.

But this one is MUCH better than the ones I've seen. This one actually looks like the ps2 controller, unlike the Logitech one. Does it also feel like the controller as well? Are there any issues when you try to play a game with it?

If it's a pretty solid controller than do you know where one can get it? It doesn't seem to be on Amazon, and I really would like a wireless controller. It is the very thing stopping the ps2 from becoming the greatest console of all time (and in this way I'll stop complaining about Sony's disagreeable decision for no backwards compatible ps3).

It feels very nice like the wired DS2 (but I'm no serious critic). I picked up during the Circuit City liquidations not too long ago, so the only games that I've been able to play using it were GoW I & II as well as the KH games.

I did a search through the board and read that Sony never made a wireless DS2 controller for the PS2.

I did the search trying to find out where I could find a black wireless controller (1st party). When I read that it never existed, I was caught off guard because I swear that I have an official SONY wireless DS2 in silver at home. It was an open box item (no packaging) that I bought from Circuit City during their liquidation. I only bought it because it matched my silver Slim PS2. I believe it's 1st party because there are no 3rd party brands or logos anywhere on the controller or adapter. It looks almost exactly like the wired DS2, just a bit bigger. I'll try to take a picture or it next to the wired one when I get home from work today.

Can anyone confirm if they've ever existed? If they do, does anyone here own one?

For me, it's pretty much all FPS's. My buddies played GoldenEye for months before they introduced me to the game. Needless to say, I sucked and would even get motion sickness just watching the battle. I did really well with Halo:CE and Halo2 before playing GeoW, but after playing GeoW for 1.5 years, going back to Halo 3 and CoD:MW would give me motion sickness all over again. I hate it!

I pre-ordered the LE, but I don't want the golden lancer.

I was assuming that the LE came with a code to download the golden lancer. I planned on just NOT redeeming the code. I also assumed that the midnight release people would be given that code even if they didn't purchse the LE.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
