Bow down to the new legend, The legend that is....Tim Cahill

Australia has done it. After going 1-0 down thanks to a goal I will not discuss because I will probably pop a vein while doing so, Australia bagged 3 late goals to make an historic victory.

Tim Cahill came on as a sencond half sub and single handidly changed the game by scoring 2 goals including a potential goal of the competition contender.

Next up is Brazil but we have to soke up this achievment for as long as possible.

Tim Cahill is a legend.

World Cup History

australia - Are playing in only their second World Cup and their first in 32 years. Australia have never scored a goal in the World Cup and have only won 1 point which was against Chile. They lost their other 2 group games to East Germany and West Germany.

They then automatically qualified for the 2002 World Cup for because they were the host (with South Korea). They topped their group with wins over Russia and Tunisia and a draw against Belgium. 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP DAY 4 PREVIEW

group f - australia vs japan

group e - usa vs czech republic

group e - italy vs ghana

The whole of australia will be watching as Australia plays it's first World Cup game in 32 years. It will no doubt be a tough test for the Socceroos but this time is ready for anything under the guidance of super coach Guus Hiddink.

USA will play there first Group E match against World Number 2 side Czech Republic. Should be a good match but on paper the Czech Republic looks to strong.

Italy vs Ghana is the other Group E match and the first timers will be looking to cause a major upset against one of the World Cup favourites in Italy.

Serbia & Montenegro vs Holland (Group C)

Mexico vs Iran (Group D)

Angola vs Portugal (Group D)

I have also written my review for the PS2 version fo 2006 FIFA World Cup so check that out if you can.

I have this fever and it made me buy a new game

I seem to have a fever...world cup fever!!!

Today I bought 2006 FIFA World Cup for the Playstation 2. I bought it from EB games because if I don't like it I can return it within 7 days and get my money back. It was $90 (au) in EB Games but they price matched the $75 price from K-Mart.

I have read a few reviews of this game and they seem to be very critical of this game (especially Gamespot) but I really like it and I'm going to keep it.

I have had no problems with the Frame Rate and it doesn't seem to freeze like many people have said.

It is a great game and the amount of National Teams in this game is mouth watering. I mean there are teams like Faroe Islands, New Zealand, Fiji, Chad and heaps more Internation teams that you wouldn't expect to find.

I will be writing a review of the game after I have played more of it but I can tell you that I will be giving it a good score because it is a great game. Oh and GO ENGLAND!

I'm Back from the camp and I'm very sore

Edge-o-Matic has returned from his 4 day camping experience.

It was a long 4 days that was sometimes fun and sometimes c**p. We had to hike for hours a day with really heavy rucksacks. The plan was for us to walk about 9km on Thursday and then camp at the campsite and then walk another 5km on Friday so we could get to the bus on Firday Afternoon. The plan was for us to arrive home at about 7pm. But on Thursday morning we decided to do one giant and excrushiating 15km walk which was mostly up hill. It was tough but we camped at the campsite near the bus and then left on Firday morning. No major injuries except for a really sore back and really sore shoulders. Well actually there is an injury but it's not serious. I have a really badly bruised left knee. It is bruised on the inside and the outside and it is really hard to walk so I will rest up for the long weekend and watch the FIFA WORLD CUP!!

edge-o-matic is back!!

I am now a leader and soon I will be King

Tagger Leader
Awarded to those who've extensively used the tagging system, enabling themselves and others to make it considerably easier to find certain content.

I have had this for about a week now but I thought I would blog about it because I am bored.

My new aim is to become the king of tags and get the Tagger King emblem.

CAMPING

I will be camping in the Aussie Outback from the 6th to the 9th of June so I won't be online for those 3 days. So I will be online on Monday and then I will not be back on the Net until possibly Sunday but hopefully I can get a free couple of hours on Saturday.

Here is a pic of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia which is where I will be camping.
