I've been having this problem with my PS3 where it seems to love leaving circular-ish marks on any discs it plays all while leaving scratches as well. I sent it in for repairs and got it back today, only for the problems to worsen. I'm sending back to Sony(again). I was just wondering have any of you who own or owned a PS3 experienced anything like this before or does anyone know what could be causing it?

I just signed up for the konami id in order to play metal gear online, but the funny thing is that my id and password don't work at all. I try logging in on my ps3 only to get an error message saying "id or password is invalid" when i go to the konami website on my ps3 web broswer and enter in my id and password, i get a message saying they're "invalid" , but they both seem to work ok on my pc for some reason. Can anyone help me fix this issue and don't tell me "you typed in your id or password wrong" because I didn't
I was planning on getting Uncharted 2 in the near future and I was just wondering, is playing Drake's Fortune necessary to understand its sequel and is it still worth playing even with its sequel out? And also, is the sequel one of those games that doesn't make you want to play prequel (ie. Call of Duty MW2) or is it still an enjoyable game even with a sequel out?
It's a yes and a no for God of War. The good highlights of the series is the music, graphics, button mashing mini games, ripping dudes in half and the epic boss fights. The bad aspect of God of War is mostly in the combat system. The weapons lack attack combos and most of the time you'll just be mashing square, square, triangle over and over and blocking doesn't really work most of the time when it should. So even though there are a lot of good points to the game, the excessive button mashing can make you dislike the game. I don't particularily agree with critics that it's the "best action game of all time", but I do agree it is an enjoyable game worth looking into. A better alternative to God of War? Ninja Gaiden, it offers a deeper combat system despite a lot of questionable elements added into the game by the creators.
I played and used to own the original Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox(which I loved) and I found Sigma to be more of the overtop action I enjoyed. I only played the demo for Sigma 2 which I found awesome as well but tended to be a bit more button mashy compared to the original. I'm having a hard time conlcuding which one is the superior version. The first one has great pacing while the second one had better weapons. What do you guys think?
I recently bought DODS and when I play it, I notice that on some maps i get a weird screen tearing on both official and non official maps(mostly on official maps). I know its not my graphics card cuz it runs the game smoothly, so could this just be a bug?

Sweet, but which version should I buy though? I read that the older version has more game modes but the Source version does not should I go for the older version or should I get the Source one instead?
I'm interested in getting Day of Defeat Source for my PC but I just wanted to know if it will run on my PC. Here are my specs:
32bit Vista Home Premium
Amd 64 x2 dual core processor 4400+ at 2.3 ghz
3gb of ram
nividia 8500gt graphics card
I have Half-Life 2 and CS source and they both run fairly smooth, around 35-40 fps so can I expect to get around the same for DOD:s, if not should I just get the original Day of Defeat instead?
I just bought this game a few days ago and I tried to connect to the internet to play multiplayer. There is nothing wrong with the connection and a message pops up tellng me to download the latest patch to play the game online. So I downloaded patch 1.6 the supposed most recent patch and the same message appears on the menu saying to download the latest patch. So is version 1.6 for BFME2 the latest one or do I need to download a different patch to play online?
Here are my specs:
32bit Vista home premium
amd 4400+ dual core processor
3gb ram
8500gt nividia with 1.7gb of graphics
