Paying to play online is what put me off from xbox and if sony does it then I guess I would stick to steam. I don't even mind the whole serial key in games thing, but pay to play is a deal breaker.
It's amazing how people still compare pc to consoles. How can you compare pc that is upgradable, pc that is different per house hold, that cost an arm and a leg to a console? What is going on with system wars? If Sony or microsoft brings out a console that costs 1000, super powerful than a pc, people will complain but yet they would go out and buy a gpu at that same price? The worse part is half the games you have or will ever have wont even take advantage of these so call power. Gez Louise I give up, SW is a dead zone.
As a programmer the "PS4 Dev Environment Windows 7 64-bit, tools are fully integrated into Visual Studio 2010 and 2012 and debug" is absolutely brilliant option so I am taking it (C++ and C# or maybe both).
what is the big deal with exclusive dlc? Don't you still have to pay for them? Should you be proud of such a thing? Anyway back to topic, looking at the way rock star do things, they won't release on the ps4 till the system can be taken advantage of.
Omg why can't people just get the simple concept of the console architecture? Really, is it that hard? If you want backward compatibility that bad keep your ps3. Stop complaining because I don't know what the big deal is.
