The change won't be overnight, but it will happen.

I very rarely buy new games so it does'nt really affect me.

To answer the OP question, like someone else said it's a case of supply and demand. I know it might look bad considering other devs may follow but really only a few select game companies can pull this off and the fact that they do so is to capitalize on people's hype since the game drops in price not much after.

Don't think so, as they would be alienating a big part of their fanbase and Valve does listen (for the most part) :p.

I think they are smart enough to tempt us with benefits, and i'm sure the OS will be very well optimized for gaming and VR which will be very useful.

Either way i'm trying it out the day it comes out, so looking forward to it!

You're right... Dragon Age, Dark Souls 2 and Witcher 3 are comming next year.

The OP is arrogant, but not so far from the truth.

PS3 taught Sony a lesson, i loved the console but they were also a bit too arrogant after PS2's success.

With that said i feel they are taking the right steps and i hope they deliver.

The dialog/story is pretty bad.

Still, i enjoyed the beta because the fact that you can level up everything with just one toon is really appealing to me.

I'm considering purchasing the game to play for a while but in 1 year or less if it doesn't drop the sub fee it will disappear.

It's actually pretty interesting considering some reviews are borderline biased (GTA 5 comes to mind) with the reviewer personal oppinions getting too much in the way.

Other than that i wonder how the final score is given? maybe an average from all the reviews?
