I very rarely buy new games so it does'nt really affect me.

Same here, the only game i pre-ordered for the ps3 i still play it every week (bought it 3 years ago)
To answer the OP question, like someone else said it's a case of supply and demand. I know it might look bad considering other devs may follow but really only a few select game companies can pull this off and the fact that they do so is to capitalize on people's hype since the game drops in price not much after.
It's actually pretty interesting considering some reviews are borderline biased (GTA 5 comes to mind) with the reviewer personal oppinions getting too much in the way.
Other than that i wonder how the final score is given? maybe an average from all the reviews?

Yes, but
When a player's game is invaded, they have the chance to receive backup from fellow covenant members if they belong to the "Way of the Blue" covenant. This will make it harder for stronger players to torment low-level characters, and give players a chance to act as a savior for the weak.
