I hope they'll release a collection of the previous two games. I don't have a good PC nor 360, so I don't wanna get into the series by playing the last game. I think there are others who feel this way too.

@WantYouBad Many of them were ex-Xbox fanboys and Nintendo fanboys are in on it too -- everyone hates Microsoft at this point. I also try to remain neutral and I don't like it when people through insults left and right; however, MS have done this to themselves and deserve what they're getting. There's no doubt about that. As for sales, who knows? There are still a couple of Xbox exclusives, so some people will get the console for them. Others will get it because they are console collectors; whereas there will be those few who will get it just to smash it.

Not sure why there are so many video game film adaptations coming up. I always thought George Clooney had the look of Sam Fisher, but oh well...

@Frostyballoon @Emerald_Scott You're right, it will be incredible. And sorry for confusing you. I just meant the feelings that ran through me as I played MGS4 for the first time. I also did enjoy playing through it a few more times afterwards.

I started with Sons of Liberty, although I had already been a little familiar with the franchise. I also played Snake Eater before playing MGS4. However, I've read a lot about the story to feel like I've been knowing it ever since it started. It's a shame though that I didn't get to know by playing through each game.

Again, you're right, TPP looks like it's going to be great. I don't know if it'll be the grand finale, though. I don't think the series can really end.

@DigiRave @Emerald_Scott What do you mean I don't have the right? That's like saying I don't have the right to sympathise or empathise with people. That's like telling me not to care about the effect war has on people. And I was careful with my words in my comment. I was being considerate! What's wrong with you?? I didn't say something like "I know how they feel" -- now that would've been wrong.

If you get my point, my argument is with how games take war lightly but MGS doesn't. I'm sorry if you don't like the fact that I care too much about an issue many others don't pay attention to. -.-'

@KrackShotz Killing child soldiers might be insane. I think he simply meant even just presenting them in this game. The subject of child soldiers is very sensitive to some people because it's a real-life issue, so one has to be careful when working with that theme. You wouldn't wanna misrepresent something or offend people.

This is a masterpiece in the making. Loving the themes. Prepare for hours of cutscenes, but it will be well worth it.

I like the MGS franchise for various reasons but one reason stands out the most -- it doesn't play with war. War isn't fun. Going out there killing terrorists isn't a trivial matter. The fact that the likes of CoD and Battlefield treat it so lightly is why I can never been into those kinda games again.

War tears people apart. It's filled with pain and sadness. War changes you, and I saw it in Old Snake when I played MGS IV for the first time. I've never been to war myself but this has always been my impression of it. And seeing the themes presented in this game so far, I know I'm going to shed tears at the end of it.

That said, Kojima's cinematic presentation in video games is unparalleled. Hats off to him and the team.

What's the point of having Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain as separate games? Initially, TPP was meant to be current gen game while GZ was to be a next-gen one. But since TPP will be a next-gen one too then why not combine the two?

@Creasy1903 Almost everyone complained about DA II and said the fact that it was rushed was why it was bad. As for me, I still liked it; my complaints about it weren't major.

I don't know if I'll like Inquisition or not, but more development time will be a good thing. Origins had a longer development time than II, so that's something to feel positive about with Inquisition.
